we had booked 4 rooms - the beds are comfortable, the bed linen and towels are clean, the breakfast is rich and tasty and with a unique view of the sea. the hostess Stella is kind and helpful. the place is quiet, away from bigger towns. everything is very great 😜 we recommend it

We loved the beach, the price, and amazing food at the Taverna (owned by the host). The view from the room is beautiful. We enjoyed the "do nothing" vibe and spent a great deal of time just resting up from our previous island stay (Santorini). The amazing (and complimentary) breakfast was too delicious to explain. I looked so forward to breakfast and coffee. Sitting on the front porch of the Taverna, or on the dock having breakfast under the morning sky with the love of my life...how do you top that? The lovely lady who cleaned our room daily is a saint. She was so nice, and did an amazing job! We collected the most beautiful beach rocks, snorkeled, had snack and afternoon happy hour on the private beach (in the nice loungers they offer guests). On the first night, our host/owner (the patriarch of the family) sat with us for a time, and offered us a shot/toast. That was so nice.
One of the staff/family/host, who seemed to be in charge, was quite bristly. She scowled and yelled a great deal. It was unsettling. At times we did not feel welcome. We are not high maintenance. She was unfriendly from the minute we arrived. We had trouble with the A/C, and she seemed pretty pissed about that. I think she may not want to work in the family business, and is taking out her anger on guests. On the less important but comfort side, the room could use some rugs, extra pillows, and blankets. It's not cozy or soft in any way. So this was pretty bad... A Terrible smell creeps up from the drains in the bathroom, and once or twice, the floor drain backed up over night. Yuck. We had to keep the window open and wear shoes in the bathroom. Not too romantic. The noise from the neighbors was sometimes impressive, and road noise would wake us at times. People drive like lunatics on sidewalk width roads...and they do so loudly at all hours. Bring your ear plugs, house shoes, and some instant coffee for the room. The two instant coffee packets were never refreshed, and once served your breakfast with one cup, you will need to drive down the road for that second (or third) cup.

This is the perfect place for peaceful and relaxing vacation. Staff is wonderful and helpfull. Rooms are light and clean and ofcourse that calming sound of the sea. I can not imagine the better place to have a fulfill vacation. Everything you need is near: beach, taverna to eat, mini market, place to order boat trips, car rental and etc. So best recomendations to this place! 💙

The room was very clean, spacious with such an amazing view. Cleaning was done everyday and the staff has been so helpfull and very lovely. They also run a very nice seaside tavern with very tasty food. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice quiet stay . You Will have the time of your life.

It was a stay that exceeded all our expectations. Idyllic quiet and beautiful place, clean renovated room, wonderful food and lovely staff - we felt more like homies than guests. Greetings to Stela and all her family, we will definitely come back.

Akrogiali Rooms is a marvelous place, built and managed by a local family. The area is less touristy but still offers a market, restaurant, nice hiking trails and clear water for snorkling. The place itself has a tavern serving what we found to be the best fish on Corfu island.

The hosts are the kindest and most helpful people who always do their best for your good stay. They fix problems if needed and went as far as to drive us to the city when we needed. You can listen their life story or talk about history of Greece and Corfu. Finally you will love to eat here, the seafood is excellent!
The place is of an older built which reflects in the condition of equipment - We had problems with air conditioning but it was fixed on request, and fast. Internet is slow and sometimes disrupted, however this may be just temporary as they are planning to get an antenna. Sheets may be replaced more often as you bring a lot of sand from the beach. Overall there is little to dislike and lot to like about this place.

A superb view, very friendly staff, (lovely family), great breakfast, peaceful location. Excellent dinner menu and quality of food.
We had an old noisy fridge that woke us up a few times and kept freezing our things, despite being on ‘1’.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was exquisite and delicious 😋. The room was kept very clean and tidy.
This a small island with limited amenities, i.e. bathrooms do not allow paper to be flushed in toilets. By no means this takes away from our wonderful vacation experience.

We have been to Boukaris and Akrogiali now for the second time and still loved everything about it. Especially the excellent hospitality of the owners family and the outstanding food that they serve in the tavern.

Nice breakfast. Greek yoghurt honey bread / jam. Bacon and eggs, juice and nice coffee. Served next to the sea with a beautiful view.

The room was clean and comfortable, with amazing sea view. The beach is so close, and not crowded. The staff and whole family are very kind and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and we ate 'best fish in Europe' :)

This place is beyond imagination!
We had our best moments in this hotel, this little piece of paradise has the best view of Corfou for us
The breakfast and the restaurant were delicious and unforgettable
The personnel is very kind, respectful, and we had a perfect welcoming from the beginning to the end
The room is spacious and comfortable and very clean
It was so hard to leave!

The view from the balcony is really beautiful! Turquoise water and oleander trees! the room is very clean and the cleaning is done every day, including changing towels. The bed is very comfortable.
The people that own the property are nice and humble and they prepare delicious food at their tavern, especially the fresh fish, grilled prawns or steak.
The breakfast is fresh and tasty, same as the coffee and fruits.
The wi-fi is quite poor and the tv didn’t work at all, but it wasn’t such an issue.

A pleasant stay at a small property (8 rooms total) right on the beachfront in Boukari. We stayed in a room 8, on the top floor which had a wonderful view of the sea. The room was a good size overall though the bathroom (whilst super clean and functional) was certainly compact - no bother though! The room (and indeed all the property) was super clean, and came with a small desk/dressing table, half-size fridge, and cafe table/chairs on the balcony. Beds - whilst basic - were comfortable and sleeping was easy thanks to the air con in the room.
The property is about 6 steps away from the narrow strip of beach that fronts the clear, blue, Ionian sea. There are free deck chairs to use (though bring a beach towel!) and you can find shade or open sun on the beach depending on your preference. Breakfast was simple but did the job: tea and coffee/orange juice/water, bacon and eggs, yoghurt and honey, fruit etc.
It's also located within reasonable walking distance of a number of places to eat, a tour operator shop, car rental place, and a mini market.
Our only feedback would be that that staff could have been warmer. Interactions were generally pretty cold, and whilst my travel companion put it down to the "Greek way", I can't say that reflects my experience at properties I have stayed in on other Greek islands or the mainland.

We highly recommend this place. Very peaceful and beautiful with lovely hosts (Stella and family). Definitely the best place in Europe (you’ll see why… 😉)

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful location. Gorgeous sea view from immaculate rooms. Beautiful family-run hotel and taverna. Breakfast and meals at the taverna are excellent. The family that owns this hotel/taverna make your stay perfect in every way--super friendly, warm, relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Akrogiali rooms and we will come back ! Rooms are clean, modern, spacious with a wonderful view on the sea. Taking breakfast close the sea was also wonderful. Very good service and care from the family. We thank again Stella and the whole family for their kindness and care.
