When we arrived we were greeted by the owners that were both friendly and accomodating. The view was amazing. We enjoyed Kayaking over to the island where our son spent hours looking for crabs. It was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Loved the tranquilty of the views and cleanliness! The bed was comfortable but the rest of furniture was NOT comfortable. Great to have the ceiling fans! Kitchen was bare minimal; no tea pot, broiler pan, cookie sheet, baking pan, aluminum foil or plastic wrap provided. Oven was not clean and using burner on stove top to heat water set off smoke alarm. Had 2 melamine lobster plates with butter dishes, nut crackers and lobster pot. "Sofa bed" is a pull out loveseat that provides a single twin size bed . I do not think more than 2 people would be comfortable staying at this cottage without trippong over each other. My Husband and I barely could prepare meals together due to lack of work surface and minimal counter space and bumping into each other. Microwave fits a single dinner plate; it was too small to accomandate a Copco travel mug. Walking space to bathroom was barely the width of a person. OUTSIDE requires you to walk through next door cottage's backyard to access dock. No ladder provided to reach water. Lawn was not mowed and double glider shown in pictures does not have any cushions and we were afraid it would break if used. Owners never responded to inquiry for glider cushions. The owners were very prompt in responding to our report that the tv was not working. It was fixed in less than 24 hours! We could hear neighbors conversations as their vehicle is within 10' of our cottage. The property description is inaccurate. The cottage is located ALONG the way to the dead end of the road NOT at the end of a dead end road. There is NO bathtub as stated in the description. Please note there is no dishwasher and no kitchen linens were provided to dry hand washed dishes with. The property needs some maintenance done- side entrance stairs and landing were peeling and unattractive. Location usually required 30-45 min drive to reach most points of interest. Highly recommend Mae's Cafe in Bath, The Hardy Boat Puffin Cruise, The Maine State Prison Showroom and the Maine Botanical Gardens!!!

Very comfortable with beautiful views

We were just there for a night, so we didn't get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but this is a great little cottage with a fantastic location looking out over the ocean and across to nearby islands. Great all around.

We loved the property and the location. We saw lobster boats going out in the morning and an eagle landing in a tree nearby. The place and surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. Mike and Connie were wonderful hosts. We definitely would stay there again.

Great little cottage. Had a blast exploring the area, delicious lobsters! Swimming and fishing off the dock. They provided kayaks, kayaked across the bay and dug for clams. Thanks for sharing your home with us, great weekend!

Camp Forever was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect get away. Perfect for 2 with everything thing you need. Loved sitting on the porch with morning coffee and watching the sunrise! We plan on coming again!

This was an absolutely lovely property, right on the bay. A small and well-equipped cottage, with everything you need for your stay. Very quiet. It was beautiful to watch the light change throughout the day. The proprietors were stars: they were so kind and helpful. I loved kayaking from their dock.

We came to see Maine for a weekend, and are very happy to have stayed at Camp Forever. We really enjoyed the area, the drive down the peninsula was great, we supported local business along our way. Great lunch lobster meal from the restaurant down the road! We woke up before sunset, and drove down to the end of the peninsula to Giants Steps, and enjoyed the view. We loved going on the dock at midnight, incredibly quiet. The camp itself was honeslty perfect. Great job renovating, everything was as expected in terms of cleanliness and quality. We tried to leave it the best we could! We enjoyed sitting out at the picnic table for dinner and morning coffee. It would be wrong not to list why our 4 star rating overall is not 5. And simply the bed quality was terrible unfortunately. So bad we couldn't come back unless the bed was replaced. Innersprings poking thru and completely rolling in towards eachother, I don't think I got 3 hours of sleep before I tried sleeping on the chair. It was really bad. And the wifi was unusable/too slow/didn't keep connection. Also a/c is listed as an amenity but I did not see a/c. We would love to come back next year or sooner if we can afford it! But honestly the bed is going to not permit us to return until replacement. If it's replaced and we can be credited something back or a credit towards a future stay with you it would be amazing and we have a few couples and family members we would love to refer the camp and house-camp next door for rent. My phone is 315 877 2638 and we would love to be contacted for further info, or as soon as the bed is replaced to be notified. If it wasn't so bad I wouldn't be typing this but it was unbearable. And we really want to return! Thank you!

Short stay for business

Amazing property, breathtaking views! The pictures don’t do it justice. We just went for the night but wish we had stayed the whole weekend. Perfect place to go if you want to getaway, enjoy the sun, water, grill.. 100% would recommend.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. The cottage was super cute and clean. We loved sitting on the dock and taking in the gorgeous scenery. Very convenient to get to restaurants and shopping.

The camp was well-equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Perfect size for the two of us. Enjoyed watching the boats go by in the evening and had a glorious sunrise the next day. Quiet, clean, well maintained. Close enough to Brunswick and Bath to allow our excursions there. Far enough to be peaceful!

What a fine two days here! Most relaxing spot I have ever spent time enjoying. Had a chance to fly my drone camera and got nice pix and videos for owners. No charge.... just a surprise for them from me.

What a lovely spot. The hosts were helpful and answered questions quickly. The dock is our favorite, watching the boats and wildlife go by. The camp has everything you need to have a quiet get away. We will be visiting again.
