The house was super clean and well equipped. The hosts were super knowledgeable about the island and provided many resources to review before and during our stay. They promptly answered all of our questions and even reached out proactively from time to time during our stay to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. Some minor issues with hot water when we first arrived but once we figured out the shower sequence, it was much better. Highly recommend! Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable experience!

What a fabulous vacation we all had. We were 4 adults plus 2 adult children and this house certainly delivered! The perfect location, size and proximity. Nothing is more than a15 minute drive away. There are so many amazing beaches to explore on the island but a perfect beach spot is just a stroll across the grass. I'm telling you, this rental has it all. You won't be disappointed!

We were close to everything but also felt like we were the only ones on the island when at the house. This place is also built for entertaining and has a cooks kitchen. The caretaker is ultra responsive. The sunsets and turtles are a short drive to Mosquito Pier. We loved the horses visiting to quench their thirst from the pool feature.

Everything was perfect. Julie and Hannah are amazing to work with and The location was perfect!! The home was so nice to come home after exploring the island all day. Very quiet and relaxing! The pool was a little to chilly for me to use But didn’t stop my spouse from jumping in! We absolutely loved the wild horses, they visited the property daily and got some pretty amazing pictures of them! The property was spotless! We enjoyed this home and hope you will too!

Villa was beautiful and super clean. The views are spectacular from every room. Hanna, the Manager, was fantastic and awesome to deal with. Would absolutely recommend Casa Lucia and am looking forward to going back soon.

This property is everything you can dream of. The location is perfect. Gated community with Security. Two minute walk to private secluded beach that was amazing. The home is well equipped and beautifully decorated. Hannah, the property manager, is awesome. This home is highly recommended. The only problem with this home is - once you arrive, you never want to leave.

Great experience, especially with out house manager, Hannah! Location was beautiful. Close to town for dinner and fun and just 15 minutes to Esperanza. Bed were very comfy and the views amazing. We had our own little beach across the street that was shared with several houses. All in all, we will be back!

Everything was good. I suggest to install an electrical gate at the entrance to the compound.

Beautiful view, beautiful home, and great location. Easy communication. Hannah was great to work with. We had a list of recommendations for different activities and restaurants and everything else we needed. Easy to work with. We loved the pool and the wild horses that visited every day. We loved our 4-night stay at Casa Lucia. Julie and Hannah’s communications were flawless. They were friendly, approachable and personable. I loved they had pre-arrival information to update you on the location, house and island. The house is perfectly described in the pics and better in-person. I was impressed with how clean it was - especially the showers. We went with two teen boys, my in-laws and brother-in-law. Hannah had an extra trundle bed, so our boys didn’t have to share a bed. My in-laws loved sitting outside watching the ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool, playing football out front and using a golf cart to roam . We BBQ a couple of times. The kitchen was well stocked. My favorite part is that the items were not cheap $1 store items. For example, the pot was Cuisinart. The toilet paper was like Charmin. There were cleaning supplies like Clorox wipes. I didn't feel like they cut corners or stocked the house with cheap furniture, towels or bedding. There were basics like ketchup, salt & pepper, hot sauce, tin foil, etc. The beds were comfortable, pool clean and plenty of room for everyone to spread. Wifi worked great. Kids got Netflix while the in-laws could watch their shows. I loved working on the deck, outside and inside tables. Air conditioning was great and the ceiling fans worked perfectly. There is even a nice one in the master bedroom bathroom. Always love having laundry too. We loved the ceilings were so high and vaulted. It didn't make us feel on top of each other. There were beach chairs, coolers and some pool toys. We had only rented a Club Car golf cart. We even paid Hannah to pick us up at the Ferry (which was super easy both ways) and she helped us arrange a last-minute car. She had great connections. The golf cart is great for cruising around. Get it from Vieques UTV since it's so close to the home. We dropped it off and walked back to the house. That said, it does make it hard if it rains only to have the golf cart. At some point, after the initial fun of it wears off, you realize it takes you a lot longer to get places. Many of the other beaches are on the other side of the island. If we had to do it again – we would go with just a car. Also, check restaurant schedules – they’re weird and not continuously updated. And, because there are many wild horses , there is a front gate before the security gate that keeps the horses out. You must manually open and close this gate each time leave/return.

Communication was outstanding between Hannah and Julie. Julie even found a rental car for us when we were unable to. Easy access to everything in the island. We had a great time with our family.

Property was beautiful and well stocked with so many things. Views were beautiful and there were always plenty of horses roaming the neighborhood. Hannah was very helpful and accommodating.

Since we couldn’t find a 4 bedroom house to fit our 4 couples, Casa Lucia was the next best thing. It had a futon and 2 twin foldable beds that helped in sleeping my daughter and her fiancé in the same bedroom with my son and his girlfriend. The house was beautiful and very clean. It’s located in a gated small community. The kitchen was well stocked. We were able to grill a couple of nights for dinner. They provide beach towels and beach amenities. The infinity pool was perfect with a good view. There’s a private beach just a few steps away across the street. As usual it’s always best to rent a car (and do it well in advance) if you want to go visit the many awesome beaches or go into Isabel or Esperanza. Hannah the manager was just a text or call away for anything.

We really enjoyed this house. It’s in a great location, very clean, had everything we needed. They even were able to supply a pack-n-play for us. The view was lovely, you could hear the waves. Our kids loved the pool. I really liked how the house had extra cozy blankets in each room, as well as trundle beds. There were also nice beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and beach toys. And floats for the pool. I definitely recommend this house and would stay here again. *One thing to note: the beds are quite stiff. I didn’t particularly like the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal preference. Wouldn’t stop me from staying here in the future though. Our family had a great time here!

Love the location, exclusive area near the airport with access to a private beach. The house is spectacular, very spacious, everything is in excellent condition, it has all that you need and more! We rented a Jeep and were able to go beach hopping during our 4 days stay, great to always come back to a refreshing pool. Thanks to Julie & Hannah for making our vacations a memorable one; excellent service and recommendations.

The beautiful and spacious property has everything you need for. You can spend all the in the house, but you can’t miss the beautiful beaches and all great restaurants. The house is a few steps from the beach. Amazing view to the ocean specially breathtaking sunrise. I recommend to rent a car to travel around the island. But taxis are available and very accessible. Definitely, I will stay again here...

The location is great and would highly recommend this to others! Safe area and house has all necessary appliances. Beach is a 1 min walk. The island has some of the best beaches with few people! Would definitively go back!

We loved the location - walk to the W and convenient drive to beaches in Sun Bay and the Wildlife refuge. Also close drive to the Isabel II and Esperanza. Great floor plan and views. Nice option to have your own beach. It was really terrific. We're sad to leave such a beautiful spot but plan to be back next year!

We stayed 5 nights over Christmas. The villa is comfortable, not fancy or luxurious, but well equipped. We enjoyed being within the W Resort and went there often for meals, drinks. The pool, as you see in the pictures, is exposed to the adjacent villa and street. You're pretty close to the neighbors equally exposed pool (and pool noise/music). The view of the water and the breeze coming off it were nice. My only complaint is the worm/catapillars that were always in the house. I had to sweep the house when we arrived as there were dead, dried up ones all over the floor. More were crawling around within a day. I think that's just the way things are in Vieques as houses are not built tight like they are at home. The kids enjoyed seeing horses roaming around. There is an industrial factory adjacent to the neighborhood. You can see it from the house and we could hear some noise from there.

three roomy bedrooms, large kitchen and living room and dining area, awesome pool area overlooking field and ocean which is close enough to hear when waves hit beach, waves not a problem to get in and out of water for adults, but, young children under 6 may need assistance, large appliances, very good air conditioning, everything listed on villa description is accurate. would return. several other nice beaches 5 - 25 minutes away. The town we visited most was Esperanza which was 15 minute ride.

Just back from an 8 day stay at Casa Lucia. Can't say enough good things about our experience. Julie the realtor and Renee the property manager were great to deal with. The house itself was perfect for the 5 of us. It's hard to tell from the pictures but the central great room is enormous and includes living, dining and kitchen space. The outside space was great, I ate breakfast every day at the outdoor table. Sunning on the patio and using the infinity pool was a bonus. Wonderful views from the front side of the house. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of beach necessities like beach chairs and coolers. Access to the The W was nice as well, we signed up to use the gym and walked over for dinner twice. Added security of being in a gated community provided extra piece of mind and ability to relax. I'm already recommending Casa Lucia to friends who are looking for a warm weather vacation.

Just back in freezing Norway after a great vacation in Puerto Rico. We have been traveling around we stay three different places. The highlight is definitive the week we had on the beautiful island of Vieques. What a paradise! Renting Casa Lucia did the stay even better, we just loved the place. We felt safe inside the W Hotels area and the house was comfortable furniture and well equipped (good bandwidth on the internet connection). Thanks to both Julie and Renee, you both was professional and gave us the best welcome and service. It is just one thing left to say…..we want more of Vieques! Thanks.
