We loved our stay in Kiawah. The house was perfect with many food and drink storage. We loved the screened in porch. Short walk down the dock to the beach. We saw many deer and other wildlife around!

Comfortable. Large kitchen and living areas. Good access to the beach. Liked the property. Living room upholstery was a bit soiled. Porch furniture cushions more so. Burned out light in lower bedroom. Shower curtain in lower bedroom had notable mold. Felt owner who appreciate this feedback. Regardless, we still enjoyed our time there

Great location behind the second gate. Wonderful trip for our family in this beautiful, well-kept home. Definitely will return. And easy walk to the beach down a private boardwalk short drive to the Ocean Course and to the sanctuary for world class dining.

We appreciated all the refrigeration & the ice maker was awesome. The second story view was beautiful. A double oven would have been helpful. Garage access was nice. The upper level primary mattress was uncomfortable. It would have helped to have a working dryer the first 2 days, but we were pleased with the quick repair. Overall, a memorable & fun stay!

There were many gathering areas, indoor and out. Tastefully decorated, well equipped kitchen.

Our family stayed at 24 Surfsong for 2 weeks (Jan, 2023) and could not have been happier - what a spectacular place! Positives * Akers-Ellis (property manager) was awesome! Proactive communication via multiple channels; super-responsive to inquiries/needs; and a seamless check-in/check-out protocol. * House location is perfect - middle of the island; beachfront; beautiful neighborhood. * Quality of the home is awesome! Plenty of room for folks to have some privacy, but design of house provides multiple areas for everyone to be together if they want. * All of the fixtures/finishes are top-notch - you feel like you are living in the lap of luxury at 24 Surfsong. * The home has everything - never ran out of coffee cups, silverware, etc.. It's clear the owners want their renters to have an 'at-home' experience and they spared no expense to making sure that happens. We've rented a lot of homes via VRBO and normally leave suggestions for 'enhancement opportunities'. In the case of 24 Surfsong we have very little to suggest other than more trashcans are needed as families of 8+ generate a lot of trash on a vacation! There wasn't a Keurig when we go there, but we bought one and left it for future users :)! It took us about 2 days to contact Akers-Ellis to book the home for the same two weeks next January - we only wish we could stay longer! Lastly, our youngest daughter got engaged on the beach in front of the home! We can't thank the owner's enough for making their beautiful home available to families like ours - life is about making memories, and we hope we'll have many more at 24 Surfsong!
