Very nice week at this well-appointed home
Wonderful outdoor space, and plenty of room-
Great kitchen, and enjoyed the ping pong table too!! We drove to beach parking just past Osprey Golf Club, and that was easy to do- 5 minute walk to the beach from there- really nice week!! Hope to return- a great Kiawah house, and we have been at many!!!

I can't say enough about the property or the overall service for our week. The home is large, friendly, and very well thought out. There are plenty of cooking supplies, the beds comfortable, and everything was in wonderful working order. We had a couple of questions/requests, all of which were addressed immediately and by very polite people. We were five: two adults and our three children (20, 18, 17), and no one felt cramped at all. I highly recommend taking advantage of the bike rentals! We were about a 10 minute bike from the beach and 15 from Night Heron. We loved our time, and this will be our first choice when returning to Kiawah.

The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook for your family. The pool is so nice with a nice deck to grill out. Plenty of parking for a few cars.

Family vacation with 6 adults and 2 littles… plenty of room and bathrooms. Beautifully decorated. Heated pool was great… we were in it every day. House had everything we needed. Very private. A little further from the beach than we thought.. but would absolutely stay here again!

The home was so inviting & beautifully decorated. We prepared breakfast & lunch each day & the kitchen was well equipped to handle any cooking needs. The porch & pool area were very relaxing and perfect for reading. Marsh Island Park was directly across the street which was very convenient & we were also just a short bike road to the beach.

262 Governors Drive is a beautiful home with everything you could ever ask for (except a hot tub). This was our second stay in this home. We had one issue with the heat (we couldn’t get it to stay warm), but it was quickly resolved by Akers and Ellis.The home was spotless, the kitchen stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. The home has great views of the golf course. They are building a home next door but we truly didn’t notice. Kiawah never disappoints with it’s beautiful beaches, miles of bike trails and beautiful nature. Kiawah truly provided when my oldest proposed to his girlfriend near the Blue Heron bridge with a backdrop of a beautiful sunset over the marsh. Perfect! Kiawah Is our family’s “happy place.”

We had a wonderful couples trip. We rode bikes, golfed, visited the beach, and took day trips to Charleston. Restaurants were fabulous as well as our own kitchen for a few home cooked meals. Wonderful trip all around.

This house is wonderful. It is beautifully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was great. Good location that is well-situated for day trips into Charleston or the surrounding islands. We loved the bike path and park directly across the street from the house. Neighborhood is very quiet and private. Communication with hosts was exceptional. On our first day there, there was a minor issue with the pool, and management fixed the problem before we even realized there was one! Beautiful home in a beautiful location, would definitely stay here again!

This property was wonderful we celebrated my birthday with 8 adults and the house accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the amenitites you would need for cooking in. The property was very clean and fresh. The ping pong table was an added plus as were the bikes we rented. We will definitely be coming back.

We could not have been more pleased with our rental of 262 Governors Drive! The house is beautifully and professionally decorated. The upstairs den/TV room was very handy for the younger adults in our large group to be able to split off in the evenings. There are two bedrooms that can be considered owner's rooms, both complete with lovely large bathrooms. The kitchen island is gigantic and always had people gathered around for meals and conversation. The pool and surrounding deck are just the right size, and the adjacent screened porch is perfect! What a wonderful place to stay while spending a week in Kiawah!

Celebrated my birthday with my kids and grandkids at 262 for 2 wks. Was all that I had hope for! Two living rooms, the elevator and the sunporch made for ease and comfort, so we all had ample space. In spite of being a little further from the beach than we had hoped, it was a beautiful property. Hope to return.

Gorgeous home! We had eight adults and three children and the home was just right for our family. We had bikes delivered and used those to commute easily to the beach. About a ten minute bike ride. Home was very clean and well kept. We were able to hang out on the porches overlooking the golf course, grilled steaks and the littles swam in the pool even though it was still a little chilly. Would highly recommend this home and the rental company that managed the transaction. My hope is we will be back next year. Would definitely rent again. Final note...master bath is dreamy.

The porch is a perfect spot for your morning coffee and the patio/pool offers plenty of sun and shade to spend the day if you don’t feel like venturing out. The beach is within biking distance but you’ll need to drive to the restaurants and shopping. The Cons: There is construction underway with the house next door being built so unfortunately spending time outside was extremely limited during our stay (late April). I don’t want to take away from the fact that the house is great, but being outside in the morning and for part of the day was impossible because the noise was obnoxiously loud. Overall: 5 stars for the house, location, and management. 2 stars for the timing of our stay with the construction going on.

Gorgeous home. Awesome layout for our two families with kids. Heated pool was amazing and got just the right amount of afternoon sun (though beware of incoming shanked balls!) and close access to beach a big plus. Will look forward to next trip to Kiawah!
