We absolutely loved our deluxe twin room - so spacious and beautifully decorated. Very comfy bed (they had made the beds into a superking double for us). Good sized bathroom with modern walk-in shower. Very well appointed and lovely touches throughout. Keith and Jane were delightful hosts - so welcoming and really friendly. They gave us great recommendations for places to eat and visit nearby. Scenery was stunning - you step outside the B&B and have the castle and estuary literally on your doorstep! Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty full English breakfast - we were very impressed with Keith making his own hash browns! All in all, a very relaxing stay - thank you Keith and Jane!

The hosts were lovely. The room was spacious and well appointed. We were travelling with our dog so the location was ideal as it is directly opposite a small green, the castle and a public footpath/right away. If travelling with a dog, check with the establishment before booking as only one room is ‘dog friendly’. Great Wi-Fi! The bed was a King Size and the room was very spacious. Continental Breakfast was a good choice of cereals, a croissant, toast with jam and a fresh fruit salad. Having fresh milk available to take to your room for your cuppa was lovely. Hosts made us aware of local walks and went to the trouble of photocopying walks for us to take with us.

We are light sleepers and prefer a different mattress. A thin memory foam topper would have made a huge difference for us but we appreciate that mattress preferences are subjective and you can’t please everyone. The B&B is on the main road and whilst the road is not heavily trafficked and the property is double glazed we are not used to hearing any road noise during the night. All the rooms are on the road side of the building. The shower cubicle in the bathroom would benefit from updating/redesigning otherwise was spacious and well appointed.

Fabulous location opposite the estuary. Plenty of places to eat nearby and wonderful walks along the estuary and woodlands.

Freshly cooked to order and generally very nice!!

The cooked breakfast was made fresh as we waited. Parking was free and there were plenty of lovely cafes and pubs all welcoming our little Shitzu! The room was spotless and well equipped and our hosts were friendly and full of local knowledge and the both loved our dog.

Everything was perfect for a lovely relaxing stay, will be returning!

We stayed in the olive room and it was clean, calming and comfortable! The hosts were lovely, very friendly and accommodating… good variety of breakfast, a choice for everyone including cooked! Plenty of tea and coffee supplied and a friendly cat to play with. What more could you want!

Lovely weekend at this gorgeous guesthouse. Jane and Keith were wonderful hosts and could not have been more welcoming. We had a really comfortable room on the first floor with a good view of the castle. It was beautifully peaceful and had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing: choice of continental or full English cooked to order. Home made yoghurt and orange juice. We will be back. Jo and Dave

Wonderful location centre of Laugharne, friendly welcoming and helpful hosts

A bit disappointed about the view - we were expecting a river view but the ground floor view was mostly the house opposite. Continental breakfast was fine but at that price (£130 per night) would perhaps have hoped for a full choice of menu.

Great 3 night stay, our hosts were first class from the moment we arrived. Our room on the first floor( Olive Room) was spacious with views to the Castle and Car Park. Breakfasts cooked to order - a lovely start to the day. our hosts were very informative on places to visit and local places to eat in the evening. We had our own key to come and go as we pleased, due to Covid restrictions our room was not serviced during our stay but anything we needed for the hospitality tray etc was ready available to collect. Another nice touch..... fresh milk from the fridge in the breakfast room. All in all a great stay. We look forward to visiting again. Many thanks.

We found everything to our expectations. Situated on the main road through the village some passing traffic noise could be heard on occasions as you would expect, but nothing that concerned or disturbed us.

Breakfast was very good and good value for me money.

The sofa was in a strange place, so made the television awkward to watch but not too much of a problem. We think it wasn't in its usual place.

The property was warm and inviting! Very clean and all the facilities were excellent!

Located In the centre of Laugharne, with excellent views of ancient castle and within easy reach of good walks in "Dylan Thomas" country! Hosts most welcoming and happy to point us towards local eateries. The good breakfast was a perfect start t the day.

The owners could not be more helpful. They made us very welcome and looked after my daughter’s special dietary needs well. The ground floor room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The location is fantastic, almost directly opposite the estuary and castle.

Nothing to do with the property as such but we did find it impossible to eat out on the Sunday or Monday evening. Despite the number of pubs and restaurants in Laugharne and it being August, everywhere was either closed or not doing food. The remaining two options on Monday night were unsurprisingly booked solid. You could follow in the footsteps of the famously bibulous local poet Dylan Thomas and drink all evening. If you want to eat, book early. We finished off the following day’s lunchtime picnic as our Sunday evening meal and at least we enjoyed a glorious view of the beautiful estuary.
