Very unkept and poor disgusting conditions

Stayed for a night and the experience was very pleasant. Lila helped me out a lot when I arrived late, made me a tea because I could barely talk because of my broken voice. She was a delight, the room was nice and I tasted the bests macarons in my life. You won't regret it !

It would have been nice to have some drinks in the fridge.

The rooms are really small. The bathrooms are are like closets. But the breakfast is adequate and the staff is nice. So my review is neutral

Location was not so near the center.

We were really happy with the people, the service and the rooms. Our stay was simply perfect! And the fact that our dog was allowed in made it even better! Thank you!

Hotel Amarante was a decent hotel for the price compared to other hotels in the local area. They had macaroons as a nice welcome treat upon our arrival which was quite thoughtful. The main reason I selected this hotel was due to the proximity to downtown Cannes/port and the fact they had overnight parking available (10 euros per night). This is an extremely old hotel that looks like aspects of it were remodeled in the past but there are still some parts that have not been updated (i.e. carpet, showers). The bed was stiff and not very comfortable but this is personal preference. There is breakfast available but it did not look too appealing to me. There is also a pool near the breakfast area which is nice but I did not swim in it as I preferred the beach instead. It is about a 20 minute walk to the downtown area in Cannes. Overall, the staff was pleasant enough and it is a decent hotel for a short stay.

The hotel was fine until we checked out and found that we have to pay 10 euros a night for parking, noone told us at check in , kind of disappointed

After reading mixed reviews. I thought the Amarante Hotel was a great decision. A quick 10-15 min walk from the Croisette. More of the places people who live in Cannes would go nearby. All the employees Couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I will definitely stay again next time I am in Cannes!!

Very outdated, about a 15 minute walk to the water. Nothing really special about this place, but it was the cheapest I could find during the festival. Definitely don’t think it’s even close to 4 stars. The front desk people were pleasant though.

It smelled like an open sewage in the bathroom and the bedroom smelled like rotten cigarettes and even like a gutter at time. I would not stay there ever again. It’s different from what’s pictured online during the booking. Be careful. Don’t stay here.

I had a great time. Would probably never return because I don't have a reason to visit Cannes, but if I would this would definetly be considered

The hotel was well situated for the palais de festival (just a 15 min walk away) but the room I stayed in and the general decor of the floors was very dated. The exception is the bathroom which was very nice. The WiFi was very bad.

The hotel conditions were not at the level of a 4-star hotel. Parking garage too small.

Small dark room with no view/ balcony. Car parking is difficult as hotels garage is so tiny. Nothing around the area

It is nice clean, friendly quiet perfect hotel only problem was the internet was weak, which I couldn't use in my room at all, only in the reseption area.

The hotel itself is slightly dated, however it is very clean and the staff are attentive, friendly and go out of their way to help. Both mornings we had been in the room late when they came to service and they made an effort to come back very late in the afternoon so we did not miss out. Desk staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to print us menus, bus timetables and anything we needed or asked for was not an issue. Good location only a 10 minute walk to the marina

Room ok not as nice as photo as had no balconybut we had to accommodate a child bed,, it had good breakfasts and helpful staffReally narrow and tight garage to park and get out of .l had small car and still struggled but it was free.

The hotel is situated on the main road up from the train station out of town. This suited us as the first day we were able to get the train back to Nice airport to collect the hire car we'd been unable to collect the night before due to delayed flight. There was parking at the hotel for a charge. This was a convenient location for getting out to explore. It is about a 15 minute walk down to la Croisette, the main tourist area. Clean comfortable and good air con. Towels changed everyday, bed freshly made too. Road side room but quiet.

We had a nice holiday. Lovely town. Nice people. Good beaches, shopping etc.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Croisette. There are several shops and eating places nearby and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Dated furniture and over priced breakfast. But clean and comfortable 15/20 min walk to promenade Small pool nice bar.

Friendly staff, clean room though could have been a little larger for star rating. Delicious continental breakfast Buffett. Located up the hill on one of Cannes main boulevard it was a plus as got you away from the throng. But still conveniently close to rail station. Recommend.

Excellent value for money!!! Greatly enjoyed our stay at Amarante.
