Location was nice and the screened walkways helped with the midgens ( small harmless bugs) . Awesome view on the St John’s River. Cleanlieness so-so, older building. Nice to have a restaurant on property .

Urine smell through the hallway, control substance smell I will not recommend any one to go to the hotel it looks like homeless, drug addict lives in the hotel and bugs everywhere.

Bugs everywhere outside! They had to screen in the hotel to keep them away. They also didn't clean up the dead bugs. A/C barely kept it comfortable in the room. Had long term people staying like they lived there that were loud and very unkempt. I had to clean our bathroom. Maid service only made our bed once for a 3 night stay, had to ask for more linens. View was amazing!

Riverfront and places to eat in walking distance. We were able to watch fireworks from the pier!

Every housekeeping member we saw had a smile on their face and was very friendly! Our front desk check in gentleman the night we checked in, definitely NOT friendly and lacking in people skills.

The room door lock appeared to be Jerry rigged after a forced entry. Sadly, there is also a half inch gap opening at the base of the door and the floor threshold where palmetto bugs easily accessed the room. In addition, this room failed to provide one USB port in this day and age of technology. It’s clear that you’re well behind the times. Unfortunately, I also had to be subjected to employees complaining about a systemic mistreatment by management where they felt uncared for and underpaid. Employees felt like they needed to work additional hours without being paid which created a culture no employee should be exposed to.

I cancelled my reservation how do I get a refund. I was traveling by myself the hotel did not look safe for me to stay outside rooms is not safe for me.

This was the front end of my Mug Race trip. If you find my back end review, you'll see that I do not gratuitously give good reviews. I have driven past this place numerous times going between Gainesville and St. Augustine, but this was my first stay. I participated in the Mug sailing race, which started right in front of the hotel on the St. Johns River. I REALLY appreciate that they have a marina, where I docked my boat overnight. The room and bed were very comfortable. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was fine. The place is very convenient to the downtown Palatka riverfront. I'll stay here again next year for the race.

The room smelled like a dog was living in the room we asked for more towels we got them the next day the toilet tissue was half used had to go to the office at 5am to get more

It was the best experience for how clean it was and the rooms were already prepared for our stay

The place was nice, not a newer property but the staff was friendly and accommodating by getting us an early check in. The Beef O'Brady's next door was convenient, a real nice to have and the view was very scenic.

We (couple) stayed in a double room with a river view, on the bottom floor, for 3 nights. The building is a little dated, though very clean and well maintained. The room smelled like sour socks but was clean. The A/C worked great and helped lessen the smell. The room was very quiet with a 55"-60" flat screen tv, microwave, mini fridge (no freezer), small desk and swivel chair. On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = softest and 10 = firmest) the beds were a 6. Each had 4 pillows, pleasant sheets, and a comforter. The water pressure was too light and was cold the night we arrived, but the service man came right away and we had hot water the rest of our stay. The smell from the toilet/drains is terrible (septic & sulphur) but is tolerable with the bathroom door closed. The riverside view was lovely. We enjoyed walking on the dock and spotted a few manatees in the mornings. The pool was clean with plenty of chairs and a few umbrellas. The websites advertises a hot tub, but the motel does not have one. Breakfast was okay, with hot options each day, though the coffee was terrible. Beef O'Bradys is the onsight restaurant, accessible through the motel lobby. The motel was fully booked during our stay, making parking limited. The parking lot and walkways were well lit, and the motel is on the smaller side, so walking to the room was not a problem. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite the quirks/minor inconveniences and would happily book here again.

Great location esp. if you book a riverfront room beautiful view. Room was very clean but outdoor hallways old and dirty. No one seems to check pool area daily (tables dirty, few if any towels). Staff all we encountered very nice!

The Restaurant staff,was completely upside down,and backwards,like they where so off, everyone in the restaurant complained while we were there It was officially bad.Wait staff needs to be better,and timely,and know what's going on at all times!!! Other than hotel was great. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant though!

Beautiful, albeit older property that is well maintained. We got one of about four rooms that has an obstructed view and lighting. We were by the ice machine, and there is zero sound proofing. You can hear everything outdoors as if it’s in your room. At least it’s a quiet area from 12-6 a.m.

It was very noisy most of the night and our room didn't get made up before the second night. Other than that it was ok.

The room and the overall experience were good. This riverside motel is a fairly decent place to stay for a night on the way to your preferred Florida destinations. I would however suggest the motel owner / management to re-paint the exterior of the property to make it more attractive & warm.

Everyone was very nice, but the building needed many updates. There is no access to the breakfast area without going outside and through the main lobby door.

Our AC unit was out. Besides that, rooms are clean and river-front room views are the best.
