My wife and I spent a night in Hamptons Inn while we were on a getaway trip in Tahoe. We went there right after Thanksgiving, so the weather was on the colder side, reaching 29-30 degrees at night.
What I didn’t like is the fact that the only means of air ventilation was through AC, which was the basic unit mounted underneath one of the windows right next to the bed. It was loud and disturbed my sleep every time it ran.
I’d usually just keep a window open for fresh air, but this time it was cold enough outside to do so.

I was disappointed when I saw a charge on my credit card for parking fees. When I booked the hotel this was not listed any where that they charge for parking

The staff was great we however were on a floor were the people above us stomped around day and night and another family allowed their children to yell and run around the hall for over 3 hours at night till 10:30pm when I asked them to stop

The thermostat didn’t work in the room and it was cold all night especially when you’re staying in Lake Tahoe you need a heater

The hotel was well maintained, modern and very nice and close to everything. Maid service, however, was spotty at best.

This is a very nicely remodeled hotel. It’s clean and comfortable. The location is very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not the best. It’s quite limited and what they did have was not done well. The potatoes were raw and tasted gritty. Like they hadn’t been washed. The fruit tasted ‘fuzzy’ like the canned stuff and as it was a couple of days old. Otherwise this was a pleasant stay.

The hotel was nice and the location was also convenient. There was plenty of parking spaces available. For some reason only one elevator was working when we got there but then the next morning both elevators were out of service which was inconvenient. The bed was not comfortable it seemed to be a spring bed and moved a lot when one person moved the whole frame moved too. The breakfast is included with the stay but I wish there were more options included because the boiled eggs seemed bad, not much fruit selection with very little cereal option

For a medium-rate hotel, this was a pleasant stay. Close to all the South Lake Tahoe amenities and lake, the King with microwave/fridge was a great deal. Fave things: good noise dampening — was so quiet and the hotel was 100% full, the ultra modern/clean/bright bathroom (perfect mirror for makeup/hair and huge sink counter), easy parking for a fee cheaper than most hotels, and really nice 24-7 coffee station in the lobby (as a decaf person this was heaven.) Meh things: Desk agent service was transactional, I was denied an early check in, occasional constant dog barking (it’s a pet friendly hotel.), breakfast is straight, nothing special. Despite that, I would stay here again!

The hotel was very good and ideal for exploring Lake Tahoe. Our only minor issue which was beyond the hotel's control was the section of unlit path/sidewalk when walking back each evening.

The room was clean, but the beds were too soft. The bathroom door didn’t latch, and I had to pay an additional $15 for parking.

The front lady is rude. She has an attitude that does not fit for her job. She talks to me without the usual pleasantries that her job should be a part of. I hope she can be trained better

I loved that the property was pretty new. Was very happy with our room. Everything was very clean and within walking distance to food, shops and the casinos. Only downside was paying for parking.

The housekeeping was not done ! Asked front desk for it but she did not care. She was supposed to bring us clean towels but nothing !!! I had to go and insist and then I brought myself my towels !!! This is not what we expect from this standard of hotel ! Except this, nice hotel, good breakfast, nice rooms.

Great location! Amenities are great! A few more tv screens would have been nice in the lounge area with comfortable seating. Food could be a bit better and the service is slow replenishing food. This created crowds waiting around in a tiny breakfast area until food came out. This happened every single morning. Nightly parking fee is not necessary. Just add it to the overall rate of room.

Everything was great except for the fact that bathroom has no real door sliding door kept sliding open which gives you zero privacy while using restrooms. Everything else was great including breakfast.

I got a 1st floor room and window into parking lot and told they could not give me a different one. The unit above my had kids who ran back and forth until very very late and it was hard to fall asleep with all that noise.

Want to the lake for the 4th of July and this property was extremely close to everything I wanted to be next to. Great dining options near by, a great liquor store near by and walking distance to the lake. Electric scooters near by that made traversing distances extremely simple. Breakfast was great in the morning.
