The hotel was located in the perfect spot, right on the river, near restaurants and shops. The rooms seemed newly renovated and were very clean. Each night the bed was turned down and we got new towels. What can I saw about the staff other than, they were awesome and so accommodating! Would definitely stay there again!

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The bellman went to extra length to make we had what we needed and even found a more suitable room for us! The property is lovely and in the center of the charming neighborhood of Petite France. it is a favorite of mine!

Extraordinary hotel and staff!
Spacious, comfortable rooms, wonderful bed and crisp linens. Large bathroom with fabulous shower.
The outside bar area is a wonderful place to relax overlooking the canal, taking in the views and enjoying one of the extraordinary cocktails created by the very talented Benoit (Ben). A wonderful selection of both red and white Alsace wines is available too.
Easy walking distance to absolutely everything to take in this very charming city of Strasbourg

We had the perfect stay at this hotel. Fantastic location, in the middle of the historical town, and in the middle of the canals. They have a great spa, with outdoor pool, we loved it! The room decor is on the classic side. We found our room very romantic. I want to recognise how amazing the staff is, we both felt they were some of the kindest we ever encountered.
We do plan to go back!

Terrible parking facility at the hotel

The hotel is so luxurious, we used and enjoyed the spa and gym, the air conditioning was very efficient and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The rooms have excellent facilities and are modern but fit in well with the exterior.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. Our room was beautiful and very spacious, the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - in the midst of the medieval village and on the canal, overlooking cafes and cobblestone streets. The staff was helpful and attentive. Note: if parking a car at the hotel, you must call ahead to get instructions for gate access as the hotel is in an area restricted to foot traffic except for authorized vehicles, otherwise you must walk a distance to hotel.

Security poor at the annex. People tried to follow us in from the street. Our room was not ready at 4p as promised. Shower difficult as bathroom tub too high, sharp edge on side, no safety bar. Plugs to recharge phones inaccessible. Could not figure out how to turn off lights so had to unplug them. Hotel breakfast absurd price so we walked a few blocks to a cafe. Good location.

Our room (121) overlooked the river and the lock and was very nice. Breakfast was good. Hotel restaurant was expensive but there are many others steps away. The Cathedral was about a 10 minute walk.

When they renovated the building they took great pains to include the original architecture so we were surprised with the new “modern “ entryway they choose. It really detracts from the overall historical look of the building and the immediate area.

This hotel is exceptional both than beauty and comfort. Employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Love this surrounding area so much to do great food and shopping surrounds the hotel.

We stay regularly at this hotel but one matter remains the same every time. Fitness room equipment are always in some extent broken or malfunctioning.
This time cross-trainer worked in both visits few minutes before shutting down. Furthermore multifunctional weight device was partially broken.
In every visit I mention these matters but there is limited or no progress in relation to these. This is rather unacceptable for five star hotel.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful historic location. Staff were friendly and professional. One disappointing item… the AC “had not been turned on yet” so they asked us to open up the windows and they brought us a fan.
