The room was great, large and very clean. Normally, we don't complain, but we have to say something about the staff at the reception desk. From day one we noticed that the youngest guy was not very friendly nor smiling, let alone very helpful. When on the second day, our key didn’t work, we went to the reception during working hours, but the door was shut. It took us several phonecalls without answer and 40 minutes of waiting before the staff arrived. When I told them this wasn't good, they didn't react. More so, the oldest guy looked at me as if I had done something wrong. When I told him that saying sorry would be the least he could do, he looked at me again in an almost agressive way and said he didn't know what he had to apologise for, as "they were fixing some things outside". That was it. This is the reason for our low score.

Pros: Easy check in, enough self parking, not far from restaurants and stores. Basic continental breakfast coffee, juice, toast and cereal.
Cons: Room was not cleaned. Looked like they only made the bed and took out the trash. Walls had visual stains and spiderwebs.Towels looked washed but showed old stains. The bath tub walls dirty and showed signs of growing mold. We found a previous guests clothes in a drawer. When checking out I informed the front desk clerk that the room was dirty and the response was they probably forgot to clean it.

The overall stay was good; however, there were a few minor issues:
- The towels were old and stained.
- The breakfast included Starbucks coffee (low-grade), orange juice, bread and butter, and raisin bran cereal with fresh milk. It lacked protein and wasn't my kind of breakfast.
- The design of the AC always blew air in your face when you were asleep.

False advertisement on their photos that they posted that place is a dump the air conditioner didn't work I might as well been sleeping out in the driveway on the concrete the beds are so bad I wouldn't let my dogs stay there ever again

Its a little run down. But it beat paying 200$ a night. So if youre on a budget. This motel is ok. Safe area..rooms are clean. Nice bedding.the towels are small and crisp. .

This is the first time in a long time that a hotel made me feel at home. The bed was so comfy! We spent the day at the lake so we were burnt out, tired and sometimes the beds are hard to sleep on but. Luckily not here. The mattress was so soft. The room was clean, the only issue was the restroom had some wear & tear but overall super clean. The Mr was a tad disappointed they didn't have cable available but other than that it was a great restful night. The free breakfast is simple but will get the job done. Toast, coffee, juice, fruit & Raisin bran. The lady that checked us in was very nice. There's a Dennys and the area has lots of little cute shops. The Mountain View is breathtaking.

No hot showers, clogged shower head. Filthy floors. Housekeeping doesn't come during the days. I would AVOID this place at all costs. Pay a little more and get a real hotel.

Nice aervice, and clean, convenient property. The sink and shower are very old and need to be replaced. Very bad water pressure. The matress was so hard it was difficult to sleep well and i woke up sore every morning.

Overall the experience was great but was pretty disappointed on the condition of the room. Bathroom was great but pretty dirty and didnt seem like it was clean. There need to be fixed and new paint wouldnt hurt as well. Bed was a bit stiff and the pillows were honestly terrible but the staff was friendly and welcoming. There wasnt really any breakfast and not sure if on the site it said they did but we had to go else where for food. Area is perfect as you can walk down the main strip and get to some great shops.

This hotel was relatively close to Yosemite National Park and within walking distance of places to eat and shop. The room was clean but our sink was clogged. Breakfast basically consisted of toast, cereal and oatmeal packages. The orange juice was awful. No hot food.

I was expecting to see scrambled eggs bacon or sausage and even waffles as part of the breakfast meal. All they offered was toast, some type of sweet bread, apples , coffee, orange juice and cranberry

Stayed 2 nights. Easy location, clean rooms and property. Only disappointment was the breakfast. It was extremely basic and unappealing. Good thing Dennys is right next door.

Pros: Convenient location, comfortable beds and clean rooms, you get your money’s worth.
Cons: TV kept freezing up, wifi signal was poor, creepy housekeeping employee, not very friendly, and we didn’t get enough toilet paper.

The staff was excellent, especially the younger gentlemen. We had many great conversations. The pool could use a deep clean but was still nice & covered from the blazing California sun. Room was clean & great location. The "breakfast" was less than desirable. Only toast & Raisin bran cereal. Great stay overall!

The hotel is on the side of a hill so the bottom floor rooms are on one side and the fourth floor rooms are on the back side. As a result the top floor rooms get lots of sun in the afternoon and tend to be very warm when you first arrive and take a long time to cool down.

We came to Oakhurst to visit musician friends and to join them in their weekly jazz band gig at a local pizza parlor. Did the same last summer, stayed here, and had no hesitation about booking a room here again. Hotel's wi-fi was a bit wonky the afternoon we checked in, but later that evening and the next morning it was fine -- and fast.
