Used as a stopover on journey from U.K. to Estonia. Pleasant enough hotel close to town centre and beside the river. Clean, presentable and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel in a central location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable.

The scenery outside the window was very beautiful. Spacious, warm rooms and clean bathrooms. Convenient parking, friendly staffs. Even though we are foreigners, they treated us well, so We were truly satisfied.

Hotel Stadt Hameln is a very quaint sleepy and quiet hotel. It is ideally located in walking distance to downtown, shops and located along canal makes for nice walks. We only stayed one night, but when we visit the area again in future, we likely will stay there longer because of the location.

Nice location but the reception was very rude with us. Room had very old furniture. They give first one room with very bad smell!! Very bad experience I will not return to them.

Huge room with three big windows overlooking the river Wezer. A fun place to stay, conveniently located for visiting Hameln and we enjoyed reading about the history of the hotel. Well done for transforming it so well. Breakfast was standard, not much atmosphere in the restaurant. We would recommend and stay again ourselves

Beautiful building but dated lobby, and renovations are made in a very different vibe. They provide well for cyclists but spending fun time at the hotel is not happening as the gate between hotel and river is closed. Close to the city center and pretty quiet, clean spacious but slightly basic bedrooms. Not sure of the value per room. Friendly staff - convenient parking. I missed charm.

Staff were lovely, rooms are very spacious but it didn’t feel four star at all. The decor was really tired in the hallways and the lift was really ancient. The bedroom had mid matched furniture and the bathroOm was very out- dated. However the staff more than made up with it with their generous natures. It did the job but wasn’t luxurious by any means

I liked the docor and set up of the hotel. It was a pleasure to stay there. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and suited all tastes.

We (couple + small dog) stayed in Hameln overnight in transit across Germany. The room was far too warm, but with no air-conditioning. Opening the windows did help cool the room, but was then too noisy. The room seems to be a bit of a solar trap with no means of temperature control. The hotel is dog tolerant, but no additional facilities were provided in terms of blankets, bed or bowls as seems to be the case elsewhere we stayed. Fortunately we had all our own kit. Parking is an extra cost in an adjacent public underground car park accessed by steps. So, not that convenient if carrying luggage. The bathroom was equipped with no toiletries other than basic soap. Breakfast was adequate. The fabric of the hotel is starting to show wear and could do with refurbishment. I do not think this is a 4 star hotel - with a little work I think it might be considered 3 star.

Nice hotel with character but getting a bit tired in places

One day we left early in the morning and returned at the evening. We were disappointed to find that the room wasn't cleaned at all. The staff couldn't do anything about it anymore except reaching us clean towels. They didn’t even offer us a cup of coffee or the like as an excuse.

Very hard to find as signage bad. If you pass it, it takes a long time to get back to it. Very hot and no fridge in room and no replacement avail. Drinks were just in a cupboard. Not good. Asked for extra pillows and were told there were none available. Sleeping in a pancake very uncomfortable. Restaurant staff very good. Reception not very helpful. You feel like you are intruding by asking them something. It was a relief to check out. Would not stay there again

The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and eves made it very cramped but great location and nice staff

OK business hotel

It's in walking distance from the City Center. The rooms was large, clean and really nice. Staff was wonderful. All spoke English. Breakfast was wonderful. Would stay there again.
