Felt very unsafe at this hotel. Lots of men outside drinking and listening to music. I felt like I was in another country. Room smelled like weed. Not a good experience at all

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Nice, and clean with a little updated interior.
My room window faced the Circle K store, so there were a lot of foot traffic. Also, bums/beggars hung out in the parking lot. There were also a lot of out of town construction workers staying in this hotel...maybe they were bridge workers restoring Sanibel.

The bathroom area smelled like a urinal and there were cockroaches under the bed of all sizes.

It was perfect situated between Sanibel and For Myers beach. The place was clean and comfortable. It was simple and clean. The bathroom had a lot of space. The workerss were nice and the cleaners were always out. Bill greeted us as we checked in late and changed our room to a ground floor, which was so wonderful.

It’s difficult for properties to be operating at top condition since hurricane Ian, but this property was OK and I would stay there again.

Staff was all friendly and the breakfast was great! Hotel is older and outdated. Wish we had working overhead lights in our room and maybe the carpet shampooed. Other than that, our stay was good!

The room was run down and smelled horribly damp. There was a dehumidifier plugged into our room and running which was putting off hot air which made the room warm. The shower was dirty with hair from previous people staying in the room and stains all over the carpet. Will never stay here again.

They cleaned the room everyday and as long as your suitcase wasnt on the bed they made the beds. It has been a long time that a hotel has done this. They also replaced the towels and wash cloth every day.

The location is fine, close to Sanibel, but the property is a tad run down, the window a/c unit was loud, and there was a dead frog in the room. Didn't feel clean. Sorry.

The building lacks maintenance, the stairs, many puddles of water in the hallways, the elevator is out of service, the air conditioners are very noisy and operate poorly.

Understanding property is still in renovating mode, #1 room could use additional drapes in addition to the black out ones. And fix key hole in door. Stuff tissues don’t cut it. Such great light outside but unable to utilize. #2 no bathroom floor mat. You only give 2towels for 2guest. Wash clothes used for floor to not slip. #3 unable to use workout room coz no one at front desk had key…and you can’t use that room before 8am? #4 an entire work crew in at 7am to wipe out food when you just open @7. #5 great pool size. Bravo. #6 need cigarette holders around outside. Butts all over the ground.

The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. The 25 yard pool was great for lap swimming. Parking easy and convenient to Sanibel.

Property is run down and outdated. Pool area was decent. It was a two night stay. 1st assigned room was disgusting. Upon opening the door a strong stench of must came through. The staff member was very understanding and reassigned another room. That room was better but not stench free. Day of departure a cocka roach was crawling on my luggage. When so checked out U mentioned it to the staff member and she did not acknowledge what I said and proceeded to look down at her paper work. Very unprofessional. I’m sure It wasn’t the first time she heard that complaint.
