Loved this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with great views.
My companion was not so lucky, insofaras their room was nearer a boiler or fan which could be heard until 11pm. Maybe a bit of sound proofing in the boiler cupboard would not go amiss, but otherwise this hotel was a very good find and I would not hesitate in booking there again.

Beautiful hotel with rooms that have sea views. We stayed in a family suite which had a separate room for the kids. My toddler loved the bunk beds! Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Very big spacious bathrooms. Easy to park. Overall a very comfortable stay.

The Northfield hotel has lovely large rooms, a nice view at breakfast and in good walking distance to the town and lovely gardens.
Never seem to answer the phone as I've rung twice and they don't get back. Good carparking facilities and lovely gardens surround the hotel.
Second time staying here and still the jacuzzi not working and I don't think steam room was either as we tried it out but no steam.
Breakfast average.

Overall stay was very good for our needs. As was explained in room particulars and we were aware, you have to choose the right time for shower to get hot water.

This is my 4th stay at The Northfield and always happy with it all. Love the swimming pool, took my daughter and 2yr old granddaughter this time and they loved it too, family room was great for the 3 of us

Old fashioned hotel was the first impression, but the room was great (rm 32) double aspect with sea view. Hotel needs updating, furniture in restaurant looked tired and worn but clean. Plenty of parking, no lift, last orders for dinner is 19.45. Food was sufficient and acceptable, few choices but not overpriced. Wine was £6 a glass.

Checked in online to save time, we were running late due to traffic, so arrived at 3.45pm. Room wasn't ready, and was told by the grumpy lady it would be 10 minutes. Was about 20 minutes later it was finally ready. Was supposed to be a 2pm check in! Room 8 was cramped, poorly equipped and the bathroom was dated and had silicone hanging from the wall. The whole place is very dated and needs a major renovation. On the plus side, the gardens are beautiful and it's only a short walk into town.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Northfield hotel and did not think it was good value for money. My room was shabby and had an awful view of an overgrown courtyard. There was no soap in the bathroom, no information or wifi code and the Jacuzzi was not working.

Our 2nd stay . The general condition of the hotel is in need of tlc, but we really enjoyed our stay , bed comfy ,room spacious . Food very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Not far to walk to the beach .

Good location, friendly staff. Room 18 was shabby and uncared for, loose toilet seat, grab rail next to bath was loose and rusty, mould on tiles, no bathroom blind, exposed, raised screw on bathroom floor where door stop would have been. Bin broken, large wet patch on the carpet when we arrived and didn’t dry out. Cobwebs and dust everywhere throughout the whole building, stair carpet was filthy and not hoovered during the two days we stayed. This stay was not worth the money that we paid and we would not recommend or return.

Lovely older style hotel. Really super helpful staff. Easy access for my elderly parents. I hope we'll be back in Minehead soon so we can stay here again.

The staff made us feel very welcome. They were very warm and attentive. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed in a family room, under the bed was a bed rail and pop up crib. The breakfast was very nice, with great options available. We took our son to the hotels pool for a swim, the pool was lovely and clean! Overall it was a lovely stay and we will definitely be returning!

Excellent location - only a short walk to the town centre and the beach. The hotel has lovely gardens which would be nice to relax in on a dry day!
My room was quite old fashioned but clean and comfortable with a large shower.

Hotel was pleasant nice surroundings comfy bed annoying back ground noise from boiler pump running constant goes of at11pm comes back on at 6am toilet wont flush once pump stops running at 11pm awake at 4.45am as curtains like tissue paper overall not a good stay for us did complain to hotel reception but not really bothered so wont be returning

Nice clean hotel. Could do with some areas being decorated and updated. Service was very good and helpful. Breakfast was served quickly and food very nice. I think the hotel was good for value.

Room was too hot. Staff especially the lady at reception was very kind and nice. Even looked after my dog while I used the swimming pool and steam room.
