Nice hotel, similar to a motel but more updated. Lobby area and large patio is great and nice pool.

Very clean and friendly

This property is great! Nice and quiet, in a good location close to lots of dining and shopping. Beds were super comfy and the rooms were very clean. Staff was all nice! Only thing I would say is it could use an exterior paint job.

Checked wàs difficult to understand their policies with the resort fee and 75 deposit a day. Tgey should just let yku. Put cash down for deposit.

A lot of people on here complain about the Air conditioning.. but this is Arizona in the summer we’re talking about. It was comfortable. Also the staff is super friendly and helpful. The crew at AJs cafe is the best and the food was good. A lot of parking. And area was great with a lot of options for food and drink. Visited Sabas western wear which is right down the street. A lot of history in this place which I also appreciate. Pool was very clean and lights up at night. I enjoyed my stay. If I have to be picky , the room needed a bit of detailed maintenance but the staff totally made up for that. 5/5 for me.

Perfect location and beautiful property

The area is perfect, there are a lot of restaurants, bars and shops around the hotel. The hotel is nice. Food restaurant was very good. BUT we will not come back because, the room was dirty. Carpet had stains, the shower wasn't draining water out. There was a cockroach next to the bed. In other words if cleaning is important do not consider this hotel

The ac kept coming on throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep the refrigerator was not working properly so any food we had inbtherechadvto throw away.

We have stayed here before, and will again! Grand resort style, beautiful grounds and huge lobby with bar, excellent location, sparkling pool, large comfortable rooms, many amenities on site. Countless restaurants and shops within walking distance, from casual to fancy. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel room was not very clean. It was very dusty. Did not put the tag out for two days of our six day trip and they never came and cleaned. It had to go and get towels and toilet paper several times.

Rooms need some TLC .

The property was great and clean. I loved everything about this property inside and out. I also met some nice people there.

Good hotel, great walking distance to restaurants.

My reservation was supposed to be for a room overlooking the pool. We ended up looking at a service door and wall and still laid the premium price. Misleading in my perspective.

There was a Harley rally in the parking lot right outside our room window. Drinking, extreme noise and trash everywhere. Not to mention the keys to the rooms were not working. Normally we love this hotel. Major disappointment!

We stay here any time we go to a concert at the Chandler Arts Center. The property is older but still maintained. I love staying here, the bed is comfortable and the hotels, conveniently located to everything in downtown Chandler. My only recommendation is that they need to shampoo the carpets and change the air filters. We’ve stayed here about 4 times and we’ve noticed a slight trend. The water in the tub drains really slow so shower quickly.

We live in Maricopa not far from this location maybe like 25 minutes m. When we’re going to concert at the Chandler arts Center, we always stay at this hotel because it’s conveniently. Walkable. It’s not your big glamorous hotel but it’s clean & comfortable. The restaurant food is so good.(they have one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had in my life). The bar is excellent. I’ve seen multiple weddings at this place and rehearsal dinners right from the bar, you can see everything on there open terrorist area. It’s conveniently located to downtown Chandler so you have access to every food type, bars with live music there is even a speakeasy, there’s so much to do. We’re actually getting ready to book again for another concert happening in a couple of weeks.

The hotel was a little outdated but still comfy.

Following a totally unacceptable initial room assignment (smelled of old smoke, dirty/dingey curtains, stained carpet -- uninhabitable, save for the heartiest party animal) we returned to the front desk to speak with a different staff member (David) who graciously spent 15 minutes working with us to find an alternate room. This one was on in a courtyard and was obviously much cleaner than the first. That said, the hotel -- which is really a classic, beautiful, early 20th century landmark -- has rooms badly in need of a refresh. We've stayed here before (4-5 yrs ago) and the same issues remain -- very old, stained carpeting, peeling wallpaper, worn curtains. With having the premier location in Downtown Chandler, at full capacity that was hosting a wedding and multiple seminar/special events -- surely this facility would seem to be pulling in adequate revenue to invest back into the accommodations. Otherwise, great restaurants, bars, pool, beautifully manicured grounds and again -- a classic architectural gem in the heart of the very cool and active vibe that is Downtown Chandler.
