Good one stay before travelling g on to airport

We stayed in a suite. When we arrived the room had not be aired. once windows balcony door opened it was fine.
We had booked twin beds so when we entered room and found double we discussed with front desk and they had this sorted out and 2 x drink vouchers. It took another 40 minutes before we could get back into room and the bar was not open until 5pm which was 3 hours away. we were told there was a vending machine with cold drinks.
our stay was for 6 nights and during this time the sheets were not changed, something we are not used to in Italy. Would have expected at least one change after 3 days.
Breakfast was good but difficult to get proper coffee (not out of machine) as staff who took room number (if anyone was there to do so) didn't ask unless you asked. Also one day there were not plates left to put breakfast items on.
On the Friday we got back from a trip out and went to vending machine in Hotel and there was no still water. I went to front desk and asked about this and what appeared to be a manager said the bar opens at 5pm to which i said i knew (again a couple of hours away from that) and he offered water bottles that were hot. 2 days later the vending machine had not yet been refilled. we headed for the supermarket!
Overall staff at front desk were quite helpful but the stay could have been so much more comfortable if there had been a smoother operation in place especially with a hotel group this size. just rather disappointing.

Big rooms. Staff was very friendly. But the AC didnt work well in our rooms. We had to change 1 room. The other didnt get a temp below 26 degrees C. Parking and location is very convenient

Spacious hotel with plenty of room unlike the typical European hotels. Quiet, good location, great breakfast. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Free parking!

Nice modern hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the bar staff particularly so. We didn't have breakfast but the food and service at dinner was good. Plenty of parking at the rear. There are several local bars, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby and Lucca centre is about 25 minutes walk.

Very clean and new rooms. Breakfast is very good and well served, the staf makes sure nothing is missing at the buffet. Spacious parking lot. Quickly check in/out. Nice pizza place less than 200m from the hotel.

This is a very basic hotel. No frills. Clean, good breakfast and close to Lucca old city where great features. Staff Can be moody at times and communication not great. for example charging (a lot!) for water, the only item in the mini bar. We stayed in July and the temperature was near 40c so it was fair to assume water is complimentary but we were charged for it! There was no sign or price again it in the room. The minibar fridge was not even on. The bottles were just placed there.
Also the acoustics is a bit poor and you can hear noises from
corridors and other rooms.
I’ll give 7 out of 10 if you keep to the right level of expectations.

The property is situated about 20 mins from Lucca walls - less if you drive. The staff was always friendly and greeted us with a smile. Rooms were adequate as we were not staying for long. The Sauna is closed due to COVID (not sure why as the fitness centre i.e. the gym was open. Highly recommend the hotel if you don't want a sauna.

I know the property for long time...the only issue continue to be internet...terrible...It seems has not been improved...talking to front desk only evasive answers...

Suite room was spacious, comfortable and quiet being on the top floor. Five minute drive to old city walls or convenient bus service immediately outside the hotel. Good free parking facilities.Had dinner in the hotel on two nights and it was reasonable quality and good value. Bar unfortunately is dead.
Hotel a little dated in decor but no big deal. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Would use this hotel again if I was staying in Lucca.

The property is very old, the wifi does not work in all of the rooms and the hotel is not close to any food establishments.

Comfortable large room, got a top floor family room with a cute little roof balcony, breakfast was very nice.
Only con is the location, must have a car to get to the old city and nothing around.

Wonderful hotel. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Staff was attentive and helpful especially for non-Italian speaking folks. We enjoyed a close by pizza place and grocery store. Free parking is a great bonus.

Bed and pillow was uncomfortable, extremely disappointing that laundry is unavailable 2 days out of the week as we planned this stop 1/2 way through our 2 week trip specifically to be able to do laundry and it was closed! Not available? How a laundry room is closed for 2 days of the week makes no sense to me. So, I spent hours driving to a self serve lavandria and waiting for my laundry. Did not get to see Lucca 😔

Away from the crazy of the comic show but close enough to walk there and the other attractions. Buses convenient but not available until after 2 pm on Sunday so not much help there. Excellent dining and spacious room. Only complaint - my bed (2 twins together) was so hard! Part my age and part ... well it was really hard!

Hotel was a large and busy place. Cost of drinks was high with a bar which lacked any atmosphere or comfort. Functional only.
