The hotel is sufficient for staying to sleep when passing through. But it's really outdated and the "amenities" aren't going to draw you in. The breakfast they offer is VERY limited and will not fuel you for the day. Will not stay here again.

The TV controls were missing from our room. We were given another remote that did not work either. Not the end of the world but just a tad inconvenient. The breakfast gravy was cold too.

They turned one side of the parking lot into a beautiful outdoor area that was very nice. They have really nicely done murals on the outside of the hotel. There wasnt an elevator. The beds werent very comfortable. The area was easy to get to. Breakfast in the morning was good.

This was an amazing place to stay!! They accommodated my 80 year old mother with a lower level room they were so kind and welcoming! Lovely out door area to eat, sit and talk about your day lite up nicely at night just beautiful!!

Spacious, comfortable room, decent property. Indoor pool looks nice, although we didn’t have a chance to use it. Breakfast was decent, cereal, English muffins, etc. Convenient to expressway, restaurants nearby. We ate at Peppers, great menu, delicious dinner.

The hotel was satisfactory. Breakfast was adequate, not great. The bathroom floor was wet because we couldn't seem to keep the shower water in the enclosure. The location was great. Near 101 and the river walk path, which is next to the Eel River One big plus was the Tesla charger! Only 6kW, but it was enough. For other EVs, there are chargers next door at the Super 8.

It was quite, however no water pressure and the bed was so hard my back hurts still from it and my husbands too

The hotel was comfortable and accommodating for our 2 day trip on the coast. The employees were friendly and the breakfast bar was convenient for grabbing some nourishment on our way to explore. The room was fairly large and peacefully quiet.

On different from a cheap motel in name and price

Liked the location. Advertised as a boutique hotel, definitely not. This is like a run down motel with miss match colored linens and stained towels. Lighting in bathrooms terrible.Walls looked dingy and yellow like covering up smoke.Walkways outside of all rooms filthy. Will never stay here again. Photos very misleading, shame on you Expedia.

Not bad for a quick stay on California coast. I would love to see 4 pillows for each queen bed. Next perhaps ice the yogurt and milk down for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay as it was quiet and conveniently located. The photos on the Orbitz site do not represent what you will get when you arrive.

Stayed here many times, will stay again!

This is not a boutique hotel. This is a very run down older hotel. Our door did not shut well, the sheets were very poor quality and uncomfortable. The hotel needs its rooms redone. Coffee at breakfast served with Cremora...

The property is dated and the sheets were not very clean. The beds were okay but mattresses were old. The road leading to the hotel had semis parked all down it. It looks like the property owners are trying get it all.updated but waited to do the rooms last. Breakfast was okay.

It was quiet and clean enough. The bathrooms were a bit dated. Great choice if traveling with dogs.

Using the word boutique is very misleading. Room was HEAVILY sprayed with de-odorizer. Fixtures were old and patched in. Outdoor area looked ok.

Well, I wish I could leave a better review. The people there were great. The artwork and paint job is fantastic. Unfortunately, the rest is a really bad Motel 6. The floors are dirty and not mopped. Your feet will be black within minutes. The towels are old, ratty, and stained with black spots. The mattress sank to the springs when you sat on the edge. Lumpy at best to sleep on. The pillows were so old they had lumps and you had to fold it to get any support, and came in various sizes. The bed cover was threadbare and had holes ripped in it. The sheets also had black stains. As others had mentioned, the breakfast was barely decent. They seem very proud of their biscuits and gravy, because that was the main food group every day. I wish the owners would put as much money into the basics of the motel, as they did the paint job. They think they can get away with this by calling it "boutique" and having cool lights over a picnic area that no one uses. Sorry, please stop trying to fool everyone because of your cool paint job and decorations. I can even excuse the cheap metal patio furnishings in the room, but spend some money on the basics that your customers actually touch.

Arrived late. Check in was a bit weird. The room was nothing much. Haven’t slept on a thin spring mattress in a long time. Served its purpose of a place to stay for the night.

Really enjoying our stay, stayed here with my puppies. Super easy to check in, ac, room was super clean, no issues with parking and felt safe. Also close by was a gas station and other stores, super close to the freeway

The whole general ambiance of what use to be a holiday inn, was poor. Breakfast was a joke. Plastic table and chairs in the room. Bed was OK. I thought it was too expensive for the place

Let’s go straight to the facts: I called t say I’ll arrive after midnight and they hang up on me. The sheets were patched to cover holes, there was used soap from the previous customer in the bathtub, there was only 3 bath towels and we were four, I tried to use the phone to ask for more and it was disconnected.

Some of the staff was very unhelpful. There wasn’t enough toilet paper or soap in one of our rooms. And it was dirty. The breakfast was also inferior. we would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
