Had cockroaches don't know how to clean and the courtyard looks nothing like it does in the pictures the rooms are outdated

The hotel was nice just didnt like the chlorine smell when u enter the main lobby area. The gym towels or overly worn out. The staff was real nice and helpful.

Left vehicle at extended stay while on a little trip. Someone tried to break into it. Evidently no security cameras there. Would not recommend doing that.

Management really should take lesson on how to resolve situation when it comes to what you were told in writing at booking and did not deliver. Very unfriendly and would not recommend at all . Booked through Hotels.com and was told breakfast was included and received confirmation in writing. Would not have stayed for five nights if this was not included. Had many other choices but expected Holiday Inn to be better choice, was very wrong. First room that was given to me was dirty and had to change rooms. No one apologized or even communicated to me. I know that I will never stay in a Holiday Inn again and I travel a lot.

I was not checked out yet. I had taken a load to the convention hall(which was the reason I was there), and when I went back to my room, the cleaning staff was already in there stripping the bed and cleaning the bathroom. I still had belongings in the room!

The staff was amazing. We had rented a hotel on another property and it was rundown so we canceled and came there. They gave us a great room next to the pool. We extended our stay one more night because our flight was canceled if I’m ever in Des Moines area again I will always stay there.

Seemed like the wallpaper in my room 312 , was peeling in the bathroom. I have also come to expect digital scales in the rooms and there were none on this one. My bed and pillow were very comfortable. The room was clean and uh, the view of the courtyard was amazing. The service was great and the bar and billiard's area was fun.

We absolutely love this hotel, and stay often due to the convenience of the airport across the street, and the shuttle service the hotel provides. Our room this time smelt bad, not your usual get the air going cause it’s musty, but it was funky. Other than this one smelly experience, the hotel is phenomenal, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Staff was helpful. Atrium was a fun atmosphere. Parking and location to the airport was convenient. A bit of early 1980's feel, but well kept up and atrium getting some renovation at time we were there. Print center available. Overall, I would stay there again

We were greeted by professional staff. They allowed us check in early, Gave us multiple keys and brought us towels whenever we needed them.The rooms were nice and very clean. We had a patios with chairs overlooking the pool. The workout room was amazing and the kids loved playing ping-pong. The shower pressure was too strong and we wished our kids could get into the game room, but it was for 18 and older. Other than that would highly recommend this hotel.

My room smelled awful, the air conditioner did not work properly I had to turn it to 58 degrees before it would turn on and get the humidity out of the air, the hot tub was very dirty and not hot, and the pool was very dirty. But the staff was helpful and very kind.

The hotel rooms are dated. No free breakfast. Also, the concession stand by the pool is closed on Sundays and so is the bar. They do sell alcohol and snacks. The pool and the hot tub area is really nice. I would say it was just an OK experience overall.

Lovely staff. That’s why it is difficult to say it was a terrible experience. The thermostat in the room is just for looks. It does nothing. We froze all night without being able to get a moment of sleep. The room and hotel was dirty, and the linens reeked of cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room. We’d have slept better under a tree in a park… in winter.
