In the morning, we went on a bike ride around the entire island and we were allowed to check out one hour later. Thank you!

The front desk service was very pleasant and professional. Although I understand the facility is under renovation, i would be better to make sure rooms are functional. The shower was warm at best and did not drain so you had to stand in water. I let the front desk know and they informed me that maintenance would be notified. My stay was short so I do not know if any resolution was made.

I informed management about a leak from the refrigerator in my room, which has resulted in white and black mold growing due to the continuous moisture. Their response? A casual “sorry, we’re remodeling; hopefully, you’ll give us another chance when it’s done.” Really? Here’s a thought: how about not renting out rooms with mold in them at all? No one should have to wait for your remodel to avoid breathing in mold. I’ve attached a photo of the mold I showed management—something guests shouldn’t be dealing with in the first place.

For the price, this property offers good value. Not convenient to shopping, but a short walk to the beautiful beach. We only stayed the one night so didn't get an opportunity to use any of the property amenities. The room was adequate but we thought the exposed box springs on the 2 queen beds was ugly.

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now, and each visit has been fantastic. The location is perfect, with super easy access between the pool and the beach, making it convenient to switch between the two. One of the things we love most about this place is the atmosphere--it's not just the friendly, helpful staff that stand out, but also the other guests. Every time we've visited everyone has been so cordial and pleasant, creating a truly enjoyable environment.
The only area for improvement would be the pina coladas, which could use a bit more love (and perhaps a touch of condensed milk :D ) But overall, it's always a great time here, and we look forward to returning.

Pool was dirty. Chairs by the pool were so dirty I didn’t even dare to seat. Staff was not friendly or professional.

The first night we were placed on the ground floor and there was a weird smell. My fiancé, who has asthma, had to keep taking breathing treatments. The next morning, I told the front desk who promptly moved us and said they’d have maintenance take a look. Not sure of the outcome regarding that room, but we were moved to a room on a higher room and had no further problems. Great customer service.

The Hampton inn was clean and nice as most Hampton inns are. One of the two customer service people we had to deal with was not very nice. Not very pleasant. We were sent to a room. It turned out to be terribly musty and smelled like it hadn't been opened in a year. So we asked for another room and a view to the water which when I booked it thought it had a view to the water. So if you're looking for a beach view or waterview don't book this hotel. There's not there's not very many restaurant choices close by and no transportation. You have to pay for a .s

The shower water was very cool. Could not get any hot. Front desk would never answer the phone. No bananas for cereal and minimal choices compared to other Hampton. Had requested a quiet room for to service dog, yet given a very busy location poolside.

The hotel is so quiet and right on the beach. Since it is the last one on that end of the island, the beach was never crowded even in a saturday! The staff was always attentive, spectacular and helpful! The breakfast was great, and all facilities very clean! We will be back!!

When we arrived, we were told that the pool was closed. Checked into our room only to find that the toliet did not work. We were first told maintenance would come fix it. Two hours later we were told maintenance staff were not on property on Sunday, so we had to ask for a different room. The room that we then moved to smelled like urine. So to say the least, we will not ever stay at this Hampton Inn ever again.

This was a wonderful stay and experience. We loved being able to bring our dog. The beach was a couple minutes walk along a beautiful boardwalk. The breakfast was good as well. We all had the best time.

Location is great, close to the beach, very quiet. Pool is good. Facility is old, smell was terrible. 1st day we stayed at the room without balcony and the odor in the room was awful. On the 2nd day I asked for another room and the balcony with the fresh air helped a little. Breakfast was just ok. Probably would stay there again.

Amazing staff and service. Needs some upgrades and maintenance. Need to have a pest control company to help with the mosquitoes! They will eat you alive! The pergola needs to be repaired, our toliet would barely flush, water pressure on the 4th floor was terrible. Other than those few things, it was wonderful and we will definitely be back!

We enjoyed that it wasn’t crowded. Loved the way the hotels weren’t stacked on top of one another. Didn’t have to wait to eat at the restaurants and it was quiet.
The only thing I didn’t like was the “tea” colored ocean water. For someone who grew up on the beach that was a turn off for me.

The property is getting ready to remodel starting in Sept 2024.
A handicap person cannot get to the beach. They need to be more ADA qualified. Too many stairs and no ramp to get to the beach. Hotel said they would take you to another part of the island. I could have stayed in the at another hotel with beach access. The hotel needs to check for an ADA grant to install a ramp at each end.
My family got to see the beach and go on it I did not, that's why we went.

This was a last minute overnight trip to Jekyll Island to take family photos, and after reading the other reviews, I picked the Hampton Inn and Suites. Check in went smoothly and the staff was courteous and friendly. The hotel is beachfront, and has a beautiful boardwalk leading to the ocean, but be prepared for the two sets of stairs. Our room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was provided, as well, and was very tasty! I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel charge me 1 more night by mistake and after 1 week and 10 phone calls we still waiting for refund. I’ll never come back. Be careful when you swipe the card to pay the security deposit and ask for the receipt to verify how much they charged you.
