We have stayed at this hotel for 3 years in a row now while we visit family in the area. It is very fun for families with the atrium and pool area, lots for the kids to do and keep them occupied. I find it very odd that at this hotel there is no housekeeping whatsoever. After a 3 night stay, we had loads of garbage piled up, a ton of wet dirty towels, and generally a dirty feeling to our room when we are paying a premium at a hotel to deserve to have housekeeping maintain our room and keep it fresh. I was told this was to make it "eco friendly" but I am not sure how this is eco friendly other than saving on wages of the staff. The atrium on the Saturday night was extremely busy and fun, but was left with a ton of garbage and food pieces all over the carpeted areas, etc, still there the following morning. I think for a chain like Best Western there should be a standard of cleanliness that is maintained. Additionally, we were given one kleenex box with 2/3 already emptied and half a roll of toilet paper for 3 nights. I was told to go to the front desk myself to get more toilet paper or kleenex if needed, which as a single parent with two little kids is very inconvenient and also so thrifty - I had to make a few trips over the weekend just to try and stock our room of the necessities. Lastly, on the first night of our stay at 12:30am our ceiling starting leaking in a massive waterfall near our doorway, we spent an hour trying to soak it up with our towels and ice bucket.

We had a great stay! Staff was super friendly. The restaurant on site was very reasonable and Michelle, our server, was wonderful. She remembered us every time and gave us great service!

This hotel in my opinion is a 2 star rating with 5 star pricing. The hotel is very dated though out however. Our stay was 10 nights so we can give a fair gauge. We never had room service do our room every day but when we did, the service could have been better. Vacuuming , cleaning the toilet and wiping the mirror in the bathroom are basic things expected . Also , some cleaning of the area around your patio door from spider webs and not having to dodge and beat them away would be nice. The main reason we stayed there though was that they offered pet friendly rooms which we were looking for. Having to pay for breakfast is somewhat a turn off for most. We stayed at a Best Western in another province when we left and their free morning continental breakfast was really great ! Overall our stay at this Best Western in Leamington was just fair.

We chose this location because it shows a pool with slides, and a fun indoor climber for the kids. We did not know until we got there (having spoken to front desk days before arrival) that the slides are only open weekends (we were there on a Sunday and was not open) and it was a huge disappointment for the kids. The pool area was also quite dirty and run down with dead bugs in all the window sills and broken uneven flooring. On our last day we also found a large ant problem behind the beds and unfortunately came home to find 200 ants in/on our luggage bags. I wouldn’t particularly recommend this property to stay. I had higher expectations from a best western property.

We did a large group stay here . Front staff were amazing and always friendly. Rooms were spacious and the breakfast special was excellent.

the bed / king was beyond comfortable which is the most important thing when staying over . the breakfast the following morning was also quite good with excellent staff . front desk was not overly welcoming but that was ok as other points were better than the front desk staff person .

I hadn’t initially planned to write a review, but after receiving multiple reminders, I felt compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, it wasn’t worth the money. The room was dimly lit and faced the parking lot, which wasn’t ideal. Additionally, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Although we booked two nights, we ended up leaving after just one. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very welcoming right from the time we walked in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I like the brand of toiletries they use in the rooms, Pharmacopia, which is natural, eco-friendly and pleasant smelling. I wish they would have had recycling boxes in the rooms though. They have an excellent recreation area with games and climbing equipment as well as a pool with waterslides. Our dog was welcome in the hotel and there was a nice surrounding yard to walk around in. The restaurant in the lobby had great breakfast options at surprising low prices. The food was good and a really good value. Great family environment.
