I paid for Monday nov. 18 until Thursday. I called a head of time informing front desk I will be checking in Tuesday 630am. When I arrived no employee was there at the front desk. I called the 401 #. They told me to wait 45 minutes. They did not take a notation that I was checking in6-7am Tuesday. Also for compensation I asked for a late check out. My last day. They were hesitant to give me one and rude. They gave me an extra hour and a half late check out. I paid an extra day so I would not have to wait to check in 3pm. I feel they should've handled the situation better and more kindly.

I was told upon arrival that someone had called saying my name and that I was impersonating that person and not to give me the room. Fortunately I had stayed there a few days before and after giving them my identification information they gave me the room I had reserved.

We had a bad experience at another property and Beat western was able to get us in on the long weekend.They were excellent in communicating with us and I was so happy to have gotten.Free breakfast was a plus point.

The bathroom in my room was way too small. The toilet and door so close together that you couldn’t sit and close the door at the same time. And to top it off why was there not an air vent in there? And a microwave would have been nice. Had to keep going down to the lobby to get another cup of hot coffee. If there was a microwave I could have saved myself a trip and waste of coffee by warming it up in a microwave. But in all it was nice for the few days of being there.

Only 1 complaint. We had to be moved from the room we were initially given because the thermostat that controlled the A/C was not working. The new room had a queen bed instead of the king bead in the original reservation. We asked for a refund for the difference in price and was told by the desk attendant that she would talk to the manager and that the person in charge would get back to us. That never happened.

Only issue was we didnt get our room serviced as stated afer 4 days. So no new towels or sheets and emptied own garbage. In fact I requested on the 6th day and still no room serviced. Then FINALLY on our last night the room was serviced and chaged out with new towels and sheets.

Our room did not have a blackout curtain and all the light from the street entered our room.
The noises next room were súper loud but not because of the guests, they are loud because of the rooms.
The breakfast included is average, rooms really small, in general it it very old hotel, we stayed for just one night and would not stay longer, in fact, I would not stay there again because the price is high and this could be rated as a 2 stars hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It would appear that they have new management and staff. Regarding the staff; they were all excellent and professional, except for one. She was rude and very abrasive to me at the check in desk. Her demeanor was that of someone who didn't care about anything.
The rooms and facility are outdated.
I would've thought that after all these years, the facility would've upgraded.

The staff was super nice. The food was good. Complimentary bottled water always a plus. As for the room itself, it could use some renovation and I don't mean just patching up old patch ups. Also not a fan of tiny ants found all over the AC unit but they've subsided once I turned on cooling. I woke up freezing cold but insect free. But overall it was a good stay.

Sorry, but this place was low budget, especially for the price! It was dirty, loud, and worn out. Our room smelled like weed, people were partying all night and it was not a great experience. I have no idea how it was an 8.0 rating.

Staff was very nice. Hotel was very clean. Parking is a nightmare. Very limited. There is an unaffiliated restaurant in the same building. After being out, when I returned to the hotel there was nowhere to park because all the spots were taken by restaurant customers

Front desk person was rude. Property was trashy. Carpet was dirty. Dont beleive the property pictures posted. For $300 a night, it was not worthy. Avoid at all cost.

Very friendly staff and comfortable hotel with large rooms and plenty space. The breakfast is a plus and they have coffee and tea in the room and also a 24 hrs coffee machine in the lobby. I ended here after a flight cancelation at the LGA and it was a pleasure surprise. I will highly recommend it.

Just needed a night to sleep since our flight was canceled and we had an early flight the next morning. The hotel was outdated but clean. The A/C was loud but we were able to fall asleep. Staff was friendly. The vending machines were out of all drinks but the restaurant next door helped us out. Coffee machine in the lobby was a nice treat as we left out very early. Overall, good place when you’re in a pinch.

I liked that there was a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you directly to the nearest subway station. It would take roughly half hour, however, we traded time for costs as the hotel was within our budget. The hotel also offered breakfast each morning and there are dairy free and gluten free options available on request. I like that there was a microwave and fridge in the room. On the downside, there are a few areas that can use a little work, but it didn't really affect our experience. The staff was also helpful. I would go back, especially because of the food options surrounding the hotel.
