Breakfast was just a bag. No place to sit and eat.

Nothing to complaint, better than we expect

Easily accessible location this motel was clean and comfortable. They have an outdoor pool. Unique front entrance with back patio door allows you to sit outside without watching traffic. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Would stay here again!

The place was fine, clean etc…. They advertised that it included breakfast but the breakfast was something you might get in a prison. A box of apple juice, a very cheap mass produced muffin and some sort of energy bar. We didn’t touch any of it. I only gave it two stars for value as I booked it some time ago for $187 and found if I had booked it a day before that it wouks have been less than 1/2 that price, which in my mind is about what it was worth.

Staff was super friendly.

The accommodation is okay, but not great. The best part was the staff at the front desk. They were friendly and helpful. The worst part was the breakfast. It as "grab and go", or, in other words, a bag with inexpensive and low quality items. On the other hand, the coffee that was available 24/7 was quite good.

it was close to everything we needed however not very clean inside the room and not up to date

The place is clean and staffs are very nice, but I was giving the last room in the back, I think it's 135. Parking was not in front, so you have to park in front of someone else's room. But what is worst is that the step to get in and out of the room is very bad. I ended up spraining my ankle. Would go back but never in that room. They should had a step to minimize the height.

Reception staff very friendly

This is just a so so property. The person in the reception area were both nice. Room is tight and you can only use half of the window to view outside as the other half has water damage and the window needs replacement. I booked the pool view believing that it will be the lower level as shown in their room description picture, but we were placed in the 2nd floor with a view of a foggy window with no proper pool view. Deceiving photo be aware. I should have just booked the one without the pool view as it's cheaper since we still didn't have a good view from their pool at all. They have bagged breakfast of a small muffin, orange and boxed juice perfect for family with small kids. This is a small town so the town sleeps pretty early.

The convenient

Hotel is dated but safe and a good overnight stop while we travelled. Staff were excellent and the pool was a nice treat. Town shuts down super early which surprised me as we stayed during peak season

We were on our way to Montreal but a rain storm, slow traffic and a fatal accident that closed the 401 near Kingston doubled the length of our drive so decided to stay here in Gananoque. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice my stay was and that it was reasonably priced. Check in was fast. Our room was in a one level section (didn’t explore so not sure if there was a two storey section anywhere). We parked directly in front of room door, with direct access to the room from outside. Inside, at the opposite side of the room we’re sliding patio doors to a grassy courtyard. There was an outdoor pool but we arrived late and slept in so didn’t have time to use it. The room was equipped with a microwave and good size compact fridge. We didn’t turn on the tv so not sure of the tv coverage. The front desk staff Tanya and Kevin were amazing, so helpful and friendly. Tanya went way beyond the call of duty. Beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean, AC worked well and was surprised at how quiet the room was. We had people on one side and didn’t hear a peep. Would definitely stay here again.

A gem close to all amenities and very helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Hotel is outdated, room has a mouldy smell. Property is not gated.

Kevin at reception was kind, welcoming and friendly. Check in was quick and simple.

Travelodge is on the main drag on the east end of Gananoque. The renovated rooms are clean, great TV service, wonderful beds, and friendly reception staff. We've stayed there before and would stay there again.

Watch out with the hidden fees they say one thing but when you get to the hotel it's another thing you book two nights you think it's that same for the second night it's not it's actually more so just watch old people when booking with these people it's not always what they seem we had no power the second day room was right next to the pool heard screaming kids couldn't shower before I left back to Montreal there was no power other than that it was cool place

Everything was great Our room was excellent with a big jaccuzy tub and a fire place in it, it was clean and I rly liked that their was a Starbucks a few steps away, the little breakfast to go was perfect as well,

Good for our needs

Room was nice and it was clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Able to sit out front and back. Will go back.

The staff was professional as expected but the pool is utmost dirty. Overall not worth the price they charge

I would definitely stay here again. Staff were excellent and friendly, made it feel like home away from home. We stayed in the king suite and it was amazing (especially the big soaker tub) im going to miss it for sure. Had a blast thank you!!
