We got double beds and I booked a king suite

Four Seasons!! Make sure you get to stay in the Lodge. We were room 2154. These buildings need serious remodeling. Peeling paint above the entry, grass clippings on the walkways to our room, 1 lamp across the room, the bed was lumpy, no chair or table, sink full of black cracks, peeling mirror, no grout in the tub between the walls and tub, ceiling tiles askew in bathroom, and the knob on the shower isn’t right, tv was on for 30 seconds at a time, then it went to black, except when you turn it on, then it had the owner bragging about how proud they were of the Lodge. Please keep in mind this is a 4 Star hotel. We did appreciate it was a walk out with a couple plastic chairs. There were literally 3 other couples in the two buildings and we were the ONLY car in our lot.

Lack of deferred maintenance on the property. First night no tv.

The property is dated, definitely needs updating. The location however is nice. Beautiful view of the lake.

Horrible experience will never come back will definitely go the Vrbo route when we come back to ozarks. Stayed in the outdoor lodge rooms they need updated bad the lock on door was not locking we went to front desk and no one ever came to fix it she did offer another room but no lake view that we paid extra for. Spiders were terrible I understand in the woods but should still spray where the customers go especially in the ice machine room. The TV did not work was a tv provider issue is what we was told. Also was a dead bug in the towel (laundered in the towel) not just a dead bug on it. Only great thing on the site was the rooftop bar. Beautiful views & bartender was great!

Was nice, but our room didn't have a nice lake view like expected. We asked to switch rooms and we did, but it still had no view. So was disappointed.

This is an old property. Our room was overlooking a flat rooftop. Old bathroom, smelled. Only gave us one bath towel for each person. Poorly lit and tv didn’t work

Musty smell in room gave wife an astema attack. They moved us to a different room and the same thing happened. Something in the HVAC system. The place needs to be gutted and redone. Rooms leak and carpets get wet.

It is in a beautiful location! You can tell it used to be an awesome facility! But it has been neglected! Needs to be updated. Has so much potential! Hallway carpeting is filthy and needs to be cleaned! Same with the elevator carpeting, should be removed and put in tile(very inexpensive to do)! The hallway has bumps and lumps, needs to be reattached and tightened down. Is an accident waiting to happen! Also all the windows on the outside need to be cleaned! Cobwebs and dead bugs every where. They keep the blinds closed, blocking the beautiful view of the lake, of the rooms and public areas because you cannot see through them. It’s just a shame. In the good side, the employees that I had contact with were very nice and accommodating!

We got there at night. Had no idea that we were in a building across from the actual lodge. No lighting to find our room; everything was accessed from outside. Rundown property. Broken, moldy ice machine so no ice. Really bad experience.

This resort is my absolute favorite place to stay when going to the Ozarks! 4 different pools and giant hot tub. All while having the sounds and view of the lake. Absolute paradise!! Staff is very helpful always.

Terrible stay. Lodge of the Four Seasons appears to not have renovated any of the guest rooms in the last 40 years. I have no idea how they are still categorized as a 4-5 star property. The carpets in the rooms and hallways are disgusting. The beds are terrible. Everything was old and so dirty. Will never stay here again.

The main lodge where you check in is super nice, but the hotel rooms were very old and ours had fleas :( the water fall inside the lodge was not working as shown in photos on the website. Grounds around the resort were not kept up or cleaned

Having stayed here previously, this stay was extremely disappointing. Room smelled, it was dirty, phone did not work, exposed wires and pipes near the building we stayed in. I don’t think I will stay here again. There are plenty of other options!

Not so far from the Osage beach, sunrise beach and parks. Has pools at every building so it’s convenient for guests to just walk down. They have a beautiful Japanese garden and nice bar out the patio. Food was good. Room is okay. We got the standard room with 2 double beds. I will say it is pretty small. I didn’t like that the room didn’t come with a microwave Atleast or even a mini fridge.

Rooms are nice but needs updating

The property was nice and relaxing with several pools to choose from if you wanted to swim. The view over the lake was amazing!

The room was clean and the view was awesome. The hotel is nice and has lots of amenities with a fire pit outside and multiple pools. There's a spa and a restaurant and I even had a movie theater where they were playing kids movies. We'll stay there again.

Check is was a breeze. Katie was super helpful and answered all my questions. The property is maintained but certainly shows its age. My kids loved all the pool options. We stayed at the Avila suites and the rooms are average at best. The suite has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have whirlpool tubs but when you turn them on there is black sediment that comes out of the jets. I ended up buying a spare toothbrush and clorox cleaner to clean the jets and the shower heads in both bathrooms. The jets still had black stuff coming out of it. The suite has enough room for 8 people but only had 5 dinner plates and cups. We brought disposable with us just in case. We have stayed at this property many times and each time the property seems more 'tired' for lack of a better term.

Property needs to be renovated

The staff was all very kind and helpful. My daughter and i really enjoyed staying there.

Room was too humid. Clothes we damp by morning. Bathroom was not clean. Mold throughout the shower tile wall and basin. Soap was caked on the soap holder - further illustrated the lack of cleaning. Rooms seem somewhat updated but hallways & the rest of the property does seem to have updated throughout the decades.

The Lodge is supposed to be a 5 star experience... maybe 30 years ago. Very run down. Room was disgusting, toilet didn't work so i fixed it myself, carpet throughout hallways was a trip hazard and needed replaced. Showers set of smoke alarms that continued to go off for 25 minutes with no response from front desk. They wouldn't answer their phones when trying to call from the Room. The whole resort was understaffed and filthy. Restaurants were hit and miss, very limited hours. They had no brochures onsite explaining hotel layout, amenities, or local offerings. In my 50 years of travel, worst experience ever. In the heart of Lake of the Ozarks , supposed to be the crown jewel. Very disappointing to say the least. Tried to file a complaint at the front desk and they claimed resort was sold not long ago and NO one knows who bought it. Total joke and I'd scream from the mountaintop for people to steer clear of this property. Horrible experience. Their touted spa onsite has no affiliation with the resort and is impossible to get any services. The whole ordeal was just bad. Very unsanitary and gross overall. Needs total remodel.

My family and I had a wonderful weekend away at the Lodge of Four Seasons. The staff was all amazing!!! In a time of understaffed issues everywhere, The lodge has done an amazing job with their people and culture. (Especially Char at the front desk! )

Needs some updates, but nice stay overall

The spa pool and HK restaurant were great along with the outdoor view and bar. Room conditions are OLD and not what it appeared like in the pictures. The bathroom was pretty gross and dank; smelled like mold. The area to reach the dock was closed off and unusable. Staff were friendly.

Property is overpriced and old

Very dated property. Lots of areas that were roped off and in need of attention. You can tell that in its day it was a nice facility however now it is definitely showing its age and in need of an update. Ice machine did not work and the hot water in the shower was extremely inconstant. It would go from lukewarm to scorching hot while showering. Definitely glad we did not have our children with us otherwise they would have been scalded badly. Whenever my husband or I showered we just prepared to jump away if we felt the water temperature change. Glad we only stayed for two nights.

Rooms where outdated and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything and i mean everything
