Great experience!

Nice hotel, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Access to beach not fitting with the hotel standards.

Clearly states air conditioning. Air con was set at 25 degrees. Set it with a minus 3 and temperature stayed at 25. At night it went from 25 to 25.4 while it was 21 degrees outside. Hotel told me they would fix and didn’t . Was told that they set it at 25 and people seem happy with this. Now the manager is trying to say that I was shown how to work the air con. 1. No one showed or explained anything 2. I am an experienced traveller and I know how to operate an air con unit.

This hotel is beautiful, chic and super clean. It looked brand new. The staff was so accommodating. We arrived on one of the carnival days and despite no parking anywhere, they allowed us to use one of the the hotel’s designated spots and moved our car nearby when a spot opened. The room was sound proof. The decor and lighting were modern. The bed was very comfortable. It was a wonderful stay, I wish we had stayed longer. The hotel is about 1 block from the carnival parade route, so you could not see from the windows or balcony clearly. However, we visited only for one night so we could experience the carnival floats. They were amazing as well. I wish we had stayed longer.

Excellent séjour

Amazing hotel fully refurbished, great Jr. suite, great service. The only thing that could have been better is the window insulation, we could hear every noise from the main street, impossible to sleep late.

Absolutely amazing hotel. Fantastic design, delicious breakfast, funny small things in the room — a recipe by the hotel’s Cheff on a pretty paper, pretty drawings on the key card ... Just probably a bit too tiny rooms (311 and 302 — I presume the lowest category ) and very noisy — 311 — because of the airco from the outside — when windows are open. Highly recommended

Building beautiful, location excellent and the staff were amazing, unobtrusive but so friendly and helpful! Great as it is but understand it is under going a refurb later this year so will likely be even better.

We had a great stay, friendly helpful staff. Fresh linen every second day. Beautiful view from the breakfast room. We would go back again.

The beach is in front of the hotel, you have to pay extra but this is the way it works for most hotels in this city. Most hotels don't have a swimming pool but there is one in this private beach. The bus and taxi stops are really close to this hotel. The hotel smells really nice and is clean. The personal is extremely nice. Breakfast is in the rooftop looking at the sea. Maybe more fresh fruit would have been nice but overall this hotel is perfect for a nice stay.

Very good, very nice hotel, great location

The first room we got was very small with little room for 2 large suitcases. The air conditioning did not work properly. We complained and got a new room which was of satisfying size. Still, the air conditioning did not work very well. Obviously the air conditioning-system in the entire hotel is outdated. The hotel is close to the beach and the shoppingstreet.

the hotel offers whatever you may need. an excellent breakfast and restaurant. i would suggest to get superior rooms if you need space. the hotel on the 4th floor for breakfast or meals in absolutely gorgeous with an amazing view on the coast.

We stayed for 3 nights and couldnt fault it. Perfectly located for the beach, harbour, promenade and town centre. The room was comfortable and very clean and the roof terrace was a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast every morning. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.

At first impression I thought the hotel seemed dated but, I soon realized that this hotel is not dated but historic with wonderful furnishings and beautiful architecture. The staff at this hotel is very respectful. The breakfast on the top floor overlooking the sea was also very good. Thank you to all the staff to make our stay special. Ciao!

Very nice, well kept hotel by the sea and promenade.

Slight issue... as a single traveller we often seem to get the room in the back overlooking the dumpsters. HOWEVER, the room was beautiful and clean. The staff provided excellent service. Breakfast was lovely and in the restaurant overlooking the incredible view. Viareggio is stunning.

Conveniently located to main restaurants and shops. Situated within a couple of minutes walk to beach and hotel pool. Comprehensive drinks menu available in Cocktail Bar, service excellent in bar and restaurant. Staff helpful. Hotel excellent standard.

Apart from the seafront location and the breakfast on the roof terrace this hotel has little going for it. The room was down a dingy corridor around the back, directly overlooking the back of another building. There was no atmosphere, the stairwell was shabby, the lobby & lounge had hardly any facilities, the drinks and food were overpriced (hence the bar and restaurant were empty most of the time). I for one will not be returning to Plaza e de Russie

This hotel was in a central position across the road from the promenade with all its shops and restaurants. We were only staying one night and had not booked a room with a view, but the room was still reasonably spacious given that this is an older hotel, with a very smart and modern bathroom. There was a great view from the restaurant's terrace. There were some free parking spaces outside the hotel, and plenty of available metered spaces around 50 metres away so the lack of car park was not a problem.

we really enjoyed staying here. the hotel is very nice, clean and good value although being on the main road, can be a little bit noisy. having said that, you soon get used to the noise and we would definitely stay here again if we came back to Viareggio
