The property is an average and expensive for the price. There is no free parking so for one night parking was €10.00. The hotel needs renovation.

Its quite a well presented hotel, and appears to have been recently renovated. The member of staff on reception was both polite and helpful, and overall, I would say my wife and I were comfortable, for the night we stayed, but it feels more suited to groups of people, rather than couples or tourists. The room we had smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, but this seems to be pretty standard for Thessaloniki, if shops, restaurants and cafes are anything to go by. It suited us perfectly for the night we needed, and the breakfast in the morning was very well presented, but I have to say we both noticed a terrible chemically taste in the eggs we had - We did NOT suffer any illness from the food though! If asked whether I would stay here again, I struggle to say Yes or No, so on the whole, it wasn't that bad, especially for the price.

A really nice place to stay. Downside was there was no kettle tea/coffee making facities in room but had a word with staff and they got me one. Could of done with some bottled water inroom too. There was a lot of students staying there and they were very noisy in the small hours during our stay but appart from that it was reakky nice. Breakfast was superb.

Basic but good value. Airport bus X1 drops you right outside.

Decent hotel, safe area, close to bus and walking distance to the city center. Clean, nothing special but good for the price. Small rooms, no special view- it is between buildings. I would stay again. You cannot take a shower without making everything wet.

We didnt know the name of the bus stop so we just told the driver that we want to get off at Metropolitan bus stop. The hotel is about 45 minutes walk to the centre but you can get bus no. 5 or 6 from outside the hotel which cost €1 one way. The route is very straightforward so you wouldnt get lost. There are cafes and restaurants near the hotel if you dont fancy going into the city centre. Overall, it a nice stay for the price.

One night stay,some confusion on check in when A Voucher was demanded despite site telling us basically, just to turn up everything was in place and then only being offered one room when two had been booked. Once that was sorted the stay was really good value for money, although one room a little cosy the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast SUPER.

Good location for ocean, shops and restaurants. The rooms were quiet and well cleaned every day and there was plenty of hot water.The breakfast bar was excellent and took care of breakfast and lunch.I would recommend it as a comfortable and well-priced hotel. The front desk staff were always helpful.

The small tv was the only disadvantage. It was partly renovated. Our room was not but it was very very good and clean. Excellent service, good breakfast. VALUE FOR MONEY!

We had a triple and instead of having three actual beds we had two twin mattresses and a cot. Luckily the cot was still comfy. The room itself was dirty. The bathroom countertops were not wiped down when we entered. The carpet and bathroom creeped a few of the group members so they refused to go barefoot. We only needed the room for one night in which it arced its purpose. Its conveniently located to they bus stops if you plan on taking public transportation to the airport. Overall if you plan on staying in the room, or staying for more than one night you may want to invest more. Its relatively cheap so for those on a budget it works well.

Staff was polite. Common areas were clean and nice. Our rooms were sparsely decorated and cramped. Room 701 had a water leak from the ceiling above the toilet that trickled down the wall into the floor drain at the base of the toilet. Black mold in on the wet spot of the ceiling indicates that this has been an ongoing problem largely ignored by maintenance staff. Breakfast buffet is well stocked if you get there within the first hour, but the rolls and bread seemed to be stale left overs from the previous nights dinner. As stated, it is adequate for an overnight stay, but not much longer. The surrounding area is not much to look at with its continuous flow of graffiti which trails building to building. I would not return to the Metropolitan, as there are many other choices out there in a nicer area. You must spend more to get more..
