Nice hotel

Air wasn't working properly. Poor customer service at check in. Elevator slow and outdated.

I had already booked a room elsewhere but needed something for 5 people, so I looked using that requirement and found Hampton Inn in Pearl. I canceled the other hotel, which we had used before & liked because they couldn't accommodate 5 people. We checked into Hampton, and there didn't have anything for 5 people, just 2 queen beds. I asked about cots, and they said they couldn't use those because fire hazard. The first lady at the counter was rude, especially because we booked through hotels.com. The breakfast was good, and that attendant was nice. The 2nd front desk lady was sweet too. But we had to go get a sleeping bag from BassPro for the 2nd night because we were too cramped with 2 adults & a teen in one bed, and 2 other adults in the other bed. The first lady said another group had the same issue & blamed it on hotels.com. 😟 I've always booked through this site, and with this request, and this is the first issue we've had like that.

Easy for one night stays on the road

We were not notified prior to booking that a boiled water only policy was in effect. Numerous issues with the hotel that we will detail later. I wanted a safe, clean space for my wife and two daughters, one of whom is only 18 months old, who are travelling without me. I'm incredibly disappointed in the limited value we received for our money.

They stay was wonderful no problem at all the breakfast was great

Breakfast was surprisingly very good with a nice variety of options. Would recommend.

Well there were roaches in your refrigerator and your refrigerators weren't on so you called the front desk and we asked the front desk to switch us again but they said that they couldn't they would have to call their boss at home so they called their boss at home she called back and said that we trashed the place knowing we didn't because if we had of she would have called the police, Mrs addressing me how I wanted to be addressed and she had a nasty attitude and that was just your general manager on top of your dirty hotel rooms and the third level for some reason it had a funky smell like a real bad smell but overall in all the hotel itself it was very dirty and it had roaches and mice it had dust they put us in a room at first that had plumbing exposed while I was being it fixed that was very ghetto and we just didn't appreciate it so she called us in the room and she was being very rude your general manager needs to be fired that's point blank and you need to take your name off of that hotel because they're not taking in any of what the customer service is saying they are doing whatever they want and then taking money The Hampton inn should not be on that building. I'm not surprised someone hasn't called the health department because they also prepare food in the morning for guests and that is the lowest place to stay in Pearl Mississippi and we learn that from our Lyft drivers and Uber drivers we won't ever stay there again.that is all.

We were staying because our home was destroyed by a huge tree that also hurt my husband when it fell down on his office.

Broken door, hair in sink, curtains old and torn

Good service and cleanliness. Room condition was poor: bathroom door handle broken off and door didn’t close fully. Not a single outlet (table, desk, wall, bathroom) would hold a plug; plugs just fell out. Needs serious refurbishing. Otherwise service was very friendly and accomdating. Cleanliness was excellent.

We were not able to take a shower. The tub was not draining and there was a foot of water standing in the tub/shower combo. Hampton Inn is always my go to hotel and is usually consistently nice. I don’t expect this from Hampton Inn. Very disappointed in the Pearl location. This stay was a waste of money 😭

It was clean bed was comfortable

We booked this room because it advertised it would sleep 6. When we arrived, it was one bed and a pull out couch. Not setup for 6 people and staff said “well it’s your fault for booking through a 3rd party” and treated us like second class citizens for doing so.

Everything was.good, front desk was. Most helpful.

Entrance is not easy

Sheets were not changed on our bed. It was very obvious.

The staff was very nice. Only thing is the room was hot and bed not so comfy: but overal it was a pleasing stay.

This property is located near two other less desirable hotels. It is nicer than the other two but it’s so overpriced.

Food was awful. Someone needs to take pride in the food serviced. Carpet was gross in my room. Big stains. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Maid walked in on me when I was getting out of the shower at 8:00 am.

Rooms are nice and clean and staff is EXCELLENT

We were delighted with the cleanliness and with the friendly service.

Carpet in our room was very dirty so was the upholstered chair.

i was sadly disappointed in this Hampton Inn. Friendly people, but the place is beginning to go down hill.Sheets clean, but wrinkled. Furnishings are worn or removed. Breakfast was a bust! Very little breakfast food available. My wife said, “False Advertising.” We have stopped here many times over a couple decades, But this was our last. Hilton needs to review this place. Even the Road sign advertising the place is faded and run down and uninviting.

Why did I rate this lovely hotel as low as possible? Because it took 1 and 1/2 hours from booking to being given our room. Over an hour waiting in the lobby for the reservation confirmation. 2 attempts with the virtual agent and on hold for over 15 min before i could receive any help. Expedia did not live up to my expectations today.

The front desk lady was very nice & helpful. Conveniently located to Bass Pro, Mugshot Sports Bar & the Outlet Mall. Overall a little over priced & disappointing to the Hampton name. Our room on the 4th floor smelled musky & mildewy. There was a blood stain on our window curtain & the knob for our towels fell out of the wall when i put a towel on it. The breakfast wasn't all too good. They had waffles, scrambled eggs, gravy, biscuits, oatmeal & cereal. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs & gravy was watery. We went to Cracker Barrel afterwards. Most of the ice machines were empty due to the travelling softball teams staying there.

It was just ok…. Not bad but not great. Definitely a dated hotel

Very nice and friendly check in. Clean room and facilities! Just was expecting the pool to be clean and opened for use.
