The Crown Hotel was first rate. Signing in was easy and straight forward and the staff were helpful and friendly. One lady called Amy Land was exceptional. Very friendly and approachable.

Staff were very attentive. Our room was excellent & the restaurant diner yesterday evening together with breakfast this morning were exceptional. We hugely enjoyed our stay at the Crown.

Hotel was very central for restaurants, pubs and shops in Woodbridge. Ten minute drive to Sutton Hoo and 30 min drive to RSPB Minsmere. Our room (3) was very spacious and nicely designed with a kingsize double bed. All staff were very welcoming and breakfast was excellent.

This was our third stay and it was as lovely as ever. Super friendly staff and great food. Amy was fabulous in particular.
The rooms are tired now and need a little refreshing but overall the hotel is a lovely place to stay, in a great location.
We would happily recommend a stay here.

Treatment from arrival to departure was absolutely superb. Attentive staff, excellent food, and a cheerful vibe throughout the whole place.

Stayed 6 nights here and the hotel is fantastic. Beautiful remodel, extremely helpful staff, great atmosphere in the bar, and the food was outstanding. Breakfast every day was absolutely delicious. The chef is amazing. The ladies on the housekeeping staff were so sweet, and accommodating. We truly felt that the staff worked so hard to make you as comfortable as possible.

We had a really warm welcome on arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a really good sleep and in the morning the breakfast was great. What really made it for us was the friendliness and welcoming staff.

Really enjoyed our short stay. The Crown is ideally located and very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and well laid out. My only comment would be that if anyone suffered with mobility issues the step into the bath / over the bath shower was quite steep. The room was also quite warm. The full English breakfast was delicious We would stay here again.

A lovely 3 night stay, stylish, clean hotel with lovely staff in the centre of Woodbridge. We were in room 1, the wifi didn’t reach that room.

Central location in Woodbridge. We stayed there to visit Sutton Hoo. Staff very helpful for all requests. Friendly. Beer garden. Good food which can be eaten in garden, bar area or dining room. WIFi works downstairs in public areas. Not in our spacious bedroom. No3. Ten bedrooms all upstairs.

Great location and free parking is a bonus, the only thing for us was that they could do with better curtains/black out blinds as in the summer months the sun is coming up so early and the room was so bright. Breakfast and service all great.

Great hotel, really friendly staff and lovely room in a central location. We stayed on a sunday night so the restaurant was closed but the breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Woodbridge.

The manager and all the staff were welcoming and most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and clean and the food was good, despite the limited menu (due the the current COVID-19 conditions). The only thing I would add is that, because our room was over the bar/eating area, it was quite noisy up until 11pm when the bar closed. However, this was probably due to the lack of soft furnishings in the eating areas.

We spent a night at The Crown as we were passing through Suffolk and visiting friends locally. I think because of Covid the room was slightly more bare than normal, and it was a little tired in places, but otherwise it was a good size and had everything we needed for the night. Excellent location too right in the centre of Woodbridge. The room was very clean and we appreciated the bottles of water and the nice quality selection of teas and coffee in the room, which was a nice touch. Breakfast the next morning was great, we had the full English which was spot on.

The cosy double room was first class. Very clean and tidy and no room service unless ask for. The hotel in general was of a high standard with very polite staff. Didn’t book the restaurant as I eat out but breakfast was very varied and excellent.

We had room19 and loved it. The atmospheric was relaxed but professional. We had two evening meal one on our own and one with our family. The waiter made our evening.
