The property is huge ! The RIU parties are amazing - my biggest complaint is the food - while plentiful it’s packet taste- I did not eat one good meal for the entire week - I fed on fruits - the drinks were just ok - entertainment on the stage was lacking - the Michael Jackson show was a disaster- poor costumes and lackluster performers. Overall trip was good thanks to the RIU parties. Rooms are outdated - but I didn’t spend much time in the room. Overall good stay for the price.

the staff was not friendly at all. Only the person at check in was nice to us. Everyone else, servers, bartenders, cleaning crew, were always rushing us during our stay and not friendly. I also had a very disgusting situation at one of the restrooms by the pool closer to the Colonial Buffet. The bathroom had poop on the walls and the door.

Properly is a little outdated. Wall plugs in the room are all old and loose. None of the chargers stayed in, plus as it keeps falling out. YouTube and all other apps on the tv doesn’t work bcuz the WiFi doesn’t connects. Toilet water keeps running the whole time and doesn’t stop. Was noisy and Annoying at night. In room towels were all old, dry and ripped, needs newer one please. Housekeeping personnel’s were all awesome. Great job.

It’s beautiful place but we are not expecting that the light above the sink area wasn’t working I have to used my flashlight from my phone to get my make up done,
And the drawer wasn’t working got stuck
And there is no Lotion and hair conditioner no shampoo and as we travel from far we was travel from far and we were not happy about it

We spent a lot of money for a weeks vacation and the pictures they have advertised are not what it is when arriving. There is only one restaurant to make reservations, the rest are buffets and the food was awful. Not only did we get sick but a few others we met at the resort said they were sick. We had several problems with our room they said on multiple occasions they would send someone never did. I will not be back here and will not recommend to anyone, as they didn’t even offer us a credit or anything .

The food at the main Buffett hall was delicious for every meal while we were there. The staff were very friendly and engaging for entertainment.
The room was terrible. Beds were uncomfortable. Sliding doors to the bathroom and terrace didn’t work without hard work. We arrived to not enough towels and the sheets all had stains. The bathroom had not been cleaned as there was urine stains on the toilet. The rooms look like a motel off the highway. They also didn’t have the room that we reserved when we booked 2 months earlier. The beach was great and the pools are nice and open 24 hours but they are not cleaned often. The sports bar was great for end of the night fun with the family. Games to play and sports to watch. Lots of entertainment throughout the day which was good.

Some of the staff members were very nice, but some of them weren’t. Also, the towels in the room were always dirty, smelling really bad. They, didn’t refill the body wash until my last day. Finally, didn’t like it.

Perfect all inclusive resort. Many Different choices in food, different excursions offered. The beach was perfect and the drinks were always flowing. Always a party. If you’re looking for a good time in the DR, RIU is the spot.

The staff and beaches make it amazing. So welcoming and helpful. The drinks were made really well and kept flowing. I would like more trasportation to different areas in on the property. A service of pick up from the hotel at the airport. Some more food choice a little more authentic to DR. Over all a great experience.

The multiple selection of food gave it a unique and plesant way to eat. The employer gave personalize expirience with each guest. Would visit again soon.

The room we stayed at had a horrible smell. It smelled like urine. The towels had a very bad smell too. We asked them to come clean it. They said they would but never did. We ended up switching to a different hotel because we couldn't sleep at night inhaling the terrible smell in our room.

The staff here was amazing very nice we a group of 15 people and every night for dinner got seated together when the staff notice we were in the restaurant the only complain I have was the food was a little cold at times and the drinks was taste like syrup soda, Lemonade, the cranberry juice from the bar was the best, But other than that the amenity the entertainment and the Riu party was excellent.
