Most all employees are great, but even though we could see on the website that plenty of rooms were available, they placed us in an undesirable room. In this case, we were placed in a room with air conditioning issues throughout the visit (often couldn't get below 79 degrees) with the worst balcony view of all (just above entrance). When I requested a different room, I was told by the night clerk that no other rooms were available (even though the parking lot was only 10% full). They keep the site very clean, and based on our interaction with employees, I'm sure most have a great visit.

In my opinion I think they should be providing at least 1 bottles of water or at least have vending machine to buy something to drive

The hotel was nice however everything closes very early. Pool service at 5pm and the pool closes at sun down and the restaurant was closed at 9pm.

This is my husband and I third time staying here. Parking is convenient and less than other hotels in same area. Staff is friendly, big pool, outdoor dining is great for the view, when we stepped out I put door sign for clean room and on arrival always came back to clean room and fresh towels and toiletries, which I loved. Bar could stay open later though. They close at 5pm also beach chairs are put away at 5pm. Overall we love it and it’s always from the south beach noise!!

We just stayed at this hotel for my boss wedding and we had a great experience everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff and the pool and beach personnel were very helpful and very nice . I can’t wait to come back!!!! This place gets 5+

Good hotel and very friendly and efficient staff. The occupancy was very low, so it all felt very quiet …. Until you stepped outside to the pool area where the construction work from the adjacent property was far from quiet!
The pool area and pool /bar staff were fantastic so all in all a happy stay and I’ll come back when the building next door is in pristine condition! 😳

Nice location, staff is courteous and cordial. We have been returning for a few years now and love it every time, it has an old Miami charm without the hassle and confusion of the larger hotels.

On returning home I found that items that had been placed in the bottom drawer of a set of drawers at the hotel had been eaten by moths. I contacted the hotel with photographs of the damage in order that they do something about it and so no other visitors had the same experience but had no reply or apology. The sleeve of my favourite hoodie and linen shorts were ruined.

I had an excellent stay at the Sea View Hotel. It was on the ocean, with a great pool, great places to walk along the beach, and the people that work there are the most pleasant and helpful people I have met in my travels. I will definitely be back.

I booked trip through Expedia and had an emergency and had to return to go back home for family emergency. There was no one to talk to about even getting credit for second day , hotel didn’t care and just pushed me back to Expedia and there is no one to contact through Expedia or hotels.com sad as a frequent user of these services I will now only book direct with hotels , this is the one time I never took travel insurance and or took the pay at hotel option live and learn.

This whole hotel needs an update. Especially the bathroom. The shower doesn’t have any modern hand held appliance.

Furniture in the room is old and bugs were found on the cushions of my room. A lot of the towels are stained and so you have to double check them. Clock also didn't work in my room. Location is great, but beach and pool service are done by 5pm, which means they actually start rushing you off the chairs by 4:30pm. The pool is currently shared with the hotel next door and Heaven forbid you sit in their chairs by accident, they will yell at you and make you leave. It seems that hotel staff in Miami no longer care about hospitality or even greeting you nicely when you walk into the hotel to check in.
