Lovely gym and pool - that really made the stay for me

Pretty poor to be honest for a really good hotel and company we espected more. The dinner was lovely we had room service. But we had not much sleep there was a lot of noise in the corridor until 2am because of parties. Why we was put there near them is a joke. We have 3 kids who all needed sleep but that is what we didnt get. Not happy one bit. The breakfast was average and the staff were not helpful at all. They were just standing around chatting. We have stayed in better hotels for cheaper and much nicer. Sorry not worth the money.

Very very surprised how lovely the hotel is, the reception area and bar and restaurant all kept in great condition and everything looked well cared for. Our suite room was beautiful, 2 comfortable sofas/ dining area then a large bedroom. Bathroom very clean and all modern decor.

I came away racing at the local Magor Autograss track. Stayed for two nights, had amazing sleeps. Place was immaculate. Shower was powerful.

Very hot in the room and very noisy , end room nearest the motorway and expensive at £104 plus £10 parking.
Couldn't sleep as too noisy. Room was large, no air conditioning.

I think the my hotel room when latches presentable could have done with a deep and thorough clean after each guest leaves. The room also. Is in need of being updated/ redecorated as it was looking a bit tired but again presentable. The reception staff were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond. They really represented the hotel very well indeed. Also the bar and restaurant staff deserve a shout out as well.

It's only one floor - but no easy access lift with luggage is a pain.

Amazing staff, great location and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Exactly what you'd expect from a Celtic Manor hotel. Highly recommended.

Had trouble checking in, said that our booking wasn’t showing on the system. I got charge twice the deposit and was left a voicemail the following day stating that they suspected we smoked in the room and charged my card yet again. Ended up taking more money from my bank account for a false accusation. I have since failed to get any response and can’t seem to get through over the phone.
Extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service and unnecessary charge and I will not be returning to this hotel again.

Encouraged left right and centre to check in on line, which I did. But had to repeat some of the process at the desk. No email/ notification that our room was ready as promised through online checkin. Hotel pleasant as was the food and other facilities.

Absolutely loved my stay. It was my wedding eve, and one member of staff really went out of her way to go above and beyond for me and my family! She was amazing! She really made our memory the a absolute best.. thank you.

Fifth time staying at the Coldra Court and finally recognised as a Gold member with a room upgrade. McKenzie on reception was superb - upgraded me, welcome gift and ensured a robe was in my room. Hotel is immaculately clean and room has very tasteful interior design with muted tones. Elemis toiletries are wonderful. Leisure facilities great, if a little old. Pool nice and clean. Adult only times should be extended. Breakfast was ok but fried food very greasy. Location not ideal on a business park, but Beefeater and McDonlads opposite. Parking charge is now £10 per night.

Was spoilt by being woken up early hour's of the morning by a couple arguing in the room opposite us. The hotel itself was lovely visited for our 1st anniversary.

So helpful at reception got a free upgrade- also when husband was poorly they couldn’t have been more helpful will be back and have already recommended to our golf society fab hotel and our room was so comfy

Reception staff were not particularly friendly. Main areas of the hotel were nice and our room was very spacious but tired with the decoration and soft furnishings. The shower was not powerful enough and the tap on the hand basin just trickled. Very dated.

Third time I have stopped here and the food has got progressively worse each time. Breakfast buffet was dried up and evening meal was well below par. Rooms are comfortable but tired.

I booked this hotel for a business trip, and was delighted to get an upgrade. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall the property was good. I had some initial problems checking in. My main issue with the hotel is that there are no safes in the room. I need somewhere to lock my valuables for safe keeping. This is non negotiable for me and therefore i will not return. Gives me anxiety

Snooty. Poorly (at best) revealed upcharge for parking. Overpriced restaurant; staff (especially the supremely officious "greeter") carry a palpable air of superiority and indifference.

Absolute quality every time. Only gripe would be the price of a pint but can’t really hold that against the place. Stayed here a few times now and the standards never drop below exceptional. Thank you.

Lovely inside, looks bland from the outside. When we turned up there were cups and plates virtually at every door where it hasn't been cleaned up from room service. We even had it Infront of our room door too.
Room was lovely, however they kept skimonig on the towels (had two for family of four each day) had to request more. Elemis shampoo and conditioner was a touch!
Pillows need to be feather and down as too hard.

Receptionist lovely on check in. Warmness and customer first not true of restaurant where ignored at host ( not for the first time).
Room fine but had to mend bath plug before having a bath and water very slow/ temperamental. Made a relaxing bath very hard work.
Food / menu in restaurant has come down a notch - Luke warm main and bread basket a real let down - served with cheapest balsamic vinegar.
Ill in night but may have been bad luck .

Fantastic stop over for a concert at ICC Wales. Hotel was such amazing value and quality that I would return again just to stay there for a night even if not going to the ICC!
