The room next door was very loud until early hours of the morning. In the end we got moved to another room. Not ideal

The stay was exelent except the food. The beef stew tasted as if it had been frozen. The door and doorway leading into the kitchen is discraceful. This has not been cleaned for a long time. Would show a picturd but it wont allow me to load ond on.

A really beautiful place to stay, staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Great array of food at breakfast. Lovely and warm environment, from parking, check-in, complimentary drinks in the fridge in the bedroom (Gold Membership stuff, I believe), to (late) check-out, it was amazing and we surely will be back soon.

Hotel was comfortable and overall well-maintained, with some repairs going on throughout the buildings inc a leaky radiator. Floodlights in the car park shone into the room through the gaps between the window and the curtains. Curtains themselves very thick. Reception staff lovely, however spa staff quite uninterested in helping to answer questions. Reception staff were very knowledgeable about the spa though! Lovely hotel to stay and unwind after busy days.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel, from housekeeping, bar & restaurant to reception. Always given a warm welcome whenever I stay with them. Food tasty and very good value.

Good stay despite 2 weddings ! Put in room away from the celebrations still could hear a little noise but not as bad as expected nice pool area which was actually quiet good front desk quick and effecient would use again close to m2

Being woken up by housekeeping at 9.50 when we didn’t have to check out until 11.00 was not appreciated.
Surely they should have a list of vacated rooms so this doesn’t happen.

We were visiting family, the hotel itself was lovely, room was a little tired, the walls were chipped and needed new painting. I was surprised about not having an option to decline the holding fee on the debit card when we advised we would pay as we go. It was made very clear that the holding charge was an option I could not refuse.

Condition of my room was fair , wallpaper that looked like it had been painted over was peeling , Fan in room did not work and picture missing off wall but hooks left in it.
Bathroom looked refurbished and nice, staff were nice. Unable to order room service as no one answered the phone , spa did not call me to make an apt. And I was unable to eat in the restaurant on both occasions I tried so I ate in the bar.

Good modern hotel, clean and reasonably priced. The room had no air conditioning, so it might not be so comfortable in the summer.

Slightly run down room, no plug sockets next to beds. Had to plug kettle in on the floor. Net curtains were ripped and torn. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Staff friendly, breakfast was of a good standard.

Staff lovely, was just a shame our room hadn’t been properly cleaned/sorted out - there were still a number of items from previous guests, socks, food & other items in the cupboard that had been missed. Room did the job for the night for what we needed it for.

The hotel was fine, the bedrooms need a bit of updating, ie the bath needs replacing with a proper shower. There were some marks on the walls in the room and no plug in an asessible place .

I was a solo traveller and given a room with an adjoining door to the room next door. It was very very noisy. Solo travellers really shouldn't be given a room with an adjoining door as the noise and interference levels are high.
