We visited with our dog and got a room that was a bit old and not so fresh carpet on the floor. Also the floor in the bathroom was not so fresh. The location was okay and after a short walk we visited a very nice restaurant AK7.

It was a nice hotel, in a beautiful building. The bathroom was a little bit old, but functional.

Good hotel, but breakfast was not satisfying because of corona-restrictions. We came for the breakfast, but it could have been solved much better

Nice and clean, very good breakfast

The hotel is in absolute walking distance from the train station and the old downtown. It is a little set back from the main street which takes away most of the noise. The check in was very friendly. Our room was clean and nice even with a mini bar but don't expect a beach view. Breakfast was also very good. The staff wasvery friendly. This was my second business stay at this hotel.

Very good value and comfortable hotel experience. Only a few minutes walk from the train station.

Wonderful facility. Excellent breakfast and wait staff very accommodating. There was a wedding party one night while we were there and there was a lot of noise and cigarette smoke outside our room. I complained to the staff the next morning and they were very apologetic and to compensate, they didnt charge us for parking. We would stay here again. Easy access to a laundry facility across the street and the downtown area is just a quick 10 minute walk.

Great location being walking distance to bus/train station and the pedestrian zone. Bedroom was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will stay here the next time I am in Hildesheim.

The Novotel is conveniently located 10 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the city center. We had a few, minor problems that were immediately fixed by the attentive and friendly staff. We've stayed in a mix of hotels across Europe and this has to be rated as one of the most pleasant we've stayed in. Heartily recommended.

A comfortable hotel. The room was fine, a little spartan however it was clean. The only negative item was the bathroom floor. It consisted of very worn linoleum. It's looks very dirty. It should be replaced with a tile floor in order to look clean. The Hotel has much Character. And the Best was the Restaurant with excellent food and Service. The Hotel had a talented Chef who was very detailed in his preparation. The Apple Strudel could not have been better even in Vienna. The Waitresses were very well trained and from a good House. I enjoyed their knowledge and detailed service. The front Desk was very professional. Thank you for a excellent experience!

I stayed there twice within few weeks in February 2012. A great Hotel. A very good quality for money.

We stayed for 3 nights. Good sized rooms, very clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast. Location very convenient for the centre of Hildesheim and the railway station. I had stayed here before and the hotel was as good as I had expected. I would be happy to stay here again. Areas that could be improved: we found the pillows difficult to get along with and lacking support. I didn't appreciate the Euro 8 per day parking charge. It was very hot and the rooms don't have air-con.

The hotel was pleasant and well located. Internet facilities were not available in the lobby while I was there.
