Family hotel, convenient location, good mattress and bed clothing, also good clean bathroom.

Amazing view of the water Excellent patio dining

Hotel need a refresh - looks quite old and used. Bed linen was fresh though. Had the unfortunate timing of fire alarm testing when i arrive - was planning to have a rest after a long flight but the alarm going on every 30sec for over an hour killed the opportunity. Breakfast offer was limited although the standard breakfast (eggs + sausage + potatoes) was good. No juice opportunity though. View is great and area is quiet.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel since 2009 so we’ve seen most of its fases. We really enjoy staying so close to the water. It’s something very unique to it and hard to be found. The rooms were pretty clean, just a few cobwebs here and there (understandable but also easily fixable). Love that it seems like all the towels have been replaced by new ones. Air conditioning worked perfectly and we were able to adjust the room temperature to our liking with zero issues. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast very much. My room was missing a microwave (my next door’s friend room had one) so I didn’t even asked the staff for one. Unfortunately during our stay the hot tub was under renovation hopefully it will be back soon. Sauna worked perfectly and we enjoyed it a lot. The pool is a big feature for the kids and although we got to use it there were a few times that it had to be closed. We miss the chair and lounges that used to be on the pier. Staff was very polite, friendly and attentive. Hope this new management will keep up with upgrades and good maintenance of the place. Overall our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. We’ll definitely continue to come every year.

We specifically selected the Ramada over another option for the swimming pool, only to learn upon arrival that the pool was closed. According to the front desk staff it was to re-open on Thursday (we left on Wednesday). It sounded like they didn't bother for the few guests over the week and only open it up for the weekends. It was a bit disappointing.

Rooms had bed bugs

The location is great. Right on the lake however, that’s all it has. The room was subpar. Bathrooms dirty and broken walls. No microwave in the room. Our key cards didn’t work and there was no staff at the front desk. One person working and leaving for the night so Libby area was locked. We got lucky that someone happened to walk by and notice us, therefore helped us get working keys. Everything was in our room so imagine that nobody ended up there to help us?! Parking lot full of water devices for rent and it just looks tacky/ cluttered. Was made to pay and extra $35 to park because we had a trailer- yet there was no one at the hotel. Maybe a total of 5 cars in the lot. Advertised with a restaurant .. and it was closed. Needless to say, you would be very disappointed if you went there for a longer stay and expected something nice. We stayed for a sleep along our travels. If there’s a next time, I’ll look around elsewhere before booking this (as a last resort) Definitely not worth the $250 nightly rate.

No pool,,no beach,,no hot tub,,hard matress,,hard pillows,,no hairdryer,,no microwave. When we asked for an extra pillow we were told no, asked for facecloths and told no. The pool and hot tub were not working. The breakfast guy was very unpleasant.

Not enough pillows, not enough towels, pack and play not in room as requested, put in upper floor even though we had a stroller and baby which was very inconvenient, not told about hotel amenties or that pool was closed. Poor front desk service. Excellent restaurant service

This is a low class a low class place. Room smells musty. All furniture is old, the room was dirty. We did not stay in this place. The swimming pool is closed because was broken. Rude front desk staff. One of my worst experience in the hotel business. YOU DO NOT STAY HERE.

Check in was 3pm and our room was not ready until almost 4 pm. The pool was out of order and while this was a common complaint in previous reviews I was informed it was working. We were travelling with children and we had to pay to swim at Briars as the beach was no swimming too. While she room was an upgrade it was not clean. The fridge in particular was stinking and we had to get someone in, they wiped it out but it was leaking a yellow substance from the bottom and continued to stink. Another person came and he said he would replace t but nothing happened we had to call again the next day. While the replacement fridge was not much cleaner it did not have the same smell. When they left we discovered the freezer was full of very old children Ice cream cups. Kitchen cupboards full of crumbs bathroom shower door not cleaned. I had spoken to a lovely woman Terri as my son in law had concerns about the reviews he read about safety and lack of cleanliness. She accommodated me n this lovely room but unfortunately the condition of it was not great. We did hear locally Fromm locals that there is a huge problem with staffing which may have contributed.

This property is not a $200 room per night hotel. My washroom was filthy. There was still faeces on the toilet from the last visitor. Not enough towels, and the room was full of spiders and bugs. I definitely will not stay at this location again.

Condition of hotel is very run down. Internet didn’t work, and pool was closed. Severely overpriced property.

It is very old and run down. With the prices they are charging, they really need to think about renovation and remodelling.

Really love this property. Only down side, we were told the dining room would be open for dinner while a wedding was in the banquet hall, my husband and I were very excited to try the duck special, but unfortunately this was not the case when four of us went to have dinner. The Server informed us that she was told the dining room would be opened as well, but it was not. We had to go and find a Restaurant.

I was really disappointed that the restaurant and pool weren’t open. Also didn’t seem to be anyone down at the dock to use the paddle boats. Seemed the place wasn’t busy so the amenities weren’t open.

Will never go back there!! I have a PTSD emotional support dog We wanted a room by the water They refused to rent us one We had to stay in one of their rooms for dogs then charged us 25.00 because of my support dog Our trip to get there was 6 hours and the temperature was 38 We were tired and way to hot We get to the room and it had no even been cleaned So we had to go back to the office The office gives us another room We get there and the door had been kicked in It was all bent and hard to open and close Now I felt like such a second class person because I have a disability and a support animal We expressed our concerns about the room with the door and lack of proper towels in the room They refused to give any discount and really didn't care about they customer If you are disabled please do not go to this place They only care about their money and not the comfort and security of the customer

The lady at front desk is amazing.

The restaurant in the motel was mediocre. I would not recommend Dinner there. Breakfast was okay.

Did not receive a Lake view room as advertised. The breakfast was the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. The hot tub was broken. Should have booked and stayed at the Briar's. Recommend everyone do the same.

We had a great time at the hotel. The staff, the room, the view of the lake, and the hotel facilities were all excellent. We look forward to coming back soon.

the fishing is really great thats the main reason for my stay the dinning is no good closed two days Breakfast very small portion the Room was dirty and they don't even clean because of Covid ware a mask face shield and gloves over priced for what you get

They were really friendly and accommodating

Our first impression of the property wasn’t great. The first room we were given was very dated and the bathroom was dirty. There was also a gap under the door which bugs very easily could have gotten in. But the staff were great in switching our room to an interior one and it was lovely! If you’re staying here I would suggest requesting a room inside the hotel. The pool was great unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working. And the breakfast was very good!

This place is my second home! It is where I gather my peace of mind.. The staff are like family! Looking forward to my next visit

Cute and clean hotel… staff and management are super friendly and gracious. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and the room was very clean. Location … can’t be beat. Beautiful lakefront property with huge dock. They were setting up for summer while we were there with countless water toys being prepped.
