Great place to stay, it's clean and the location is walking distance from all the restaurants in Redwood City. The check-in is easy as it's all done on your phone.

If you are looking for the Redwood City downtown party time hotel then checkout Kasa Niche. This is a great central spot. Every room is provided with ear plugs because the hotel walls anre very thin annd it is located downtown Redwood City.Plus the parking can be a challenge but do not give up. The lodgings are very simple and to the point. The rooms are very small and cozy. The room that I stayed in was very cold and I noticed that the bathroom window was open. It had a small sign - Please do not open the window. The previous lodger probably did not see the small sign. I would like to suggest to make the sign bigger and not matching the color of the window. In addition the Keruig was not working but luckily they have coffee in the main waiting lounge.
Overall, it’s cute and to the point.

Great location, but parking can be difficult. Mini fridge and Keurig did not work. There was a nice working coffee machine in the lobby. Easy check-in/out process was a plus.

Small room, but layout and amenities make it work well. Very quiet and clean. No hotel parking, but large city lot behind the property is affordable. Rarely lot is full in the middle of the day.

I was first put off by the virtual desk check-in but in the end, I was impressed by its efficiency and the hotel room. Really nice, comfortable amenities.
To note: neither parking or breakfast are included, something I did not see until after I booked. But there is free overnight public parking and lots of restaurants close by.

I will never stay here again. Too bad tooo because it was super cute and clean. Ear plugs and eye mask for sleeping? Not good. Loud people and cars all night, blinds were not private, and to top it off trash trucks coming through around 4:30am and again an hour later. Oh and the police banging on someone’s door at 1:30am, definitely can’t forget about that. That went on for about 45 minutes. Didn’t get much sleep… not a fan of no one actually working at a front desk either.

I will go to Kasa Niche again. I love the space, it is ver comfortably cozy and super clean. I love the setup. Only downside is the parking space. Customer have to pay from 8a.m to 8p.m Monday through Sat. Sunday it is free.

No on site parking. You’ll have to pay for parking in the public lot. Pay from 8 AM - 8 PM. Don’t leave things in your car as this is downtown Redwood City and the counties prison and courthouse in nearby.
Don’t go wandering late at night, too!

This property was just beautiful. The cleanest, most unique room I’ve ever experienced. From the wonderful shower, to the superb bed, mirror, snacks, coffee/tea bar. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Definitely will go back.

Dorm room sized unit which is probably fine for 1 person but definitely not 2. Desk is impossibly small to work on. No place to put luggage. And the worst part is it's LOUD at night. One window refused to close, so we could hear everything and got woken up every night multiple times. Would definitely recommend looking at other places, as the price is not so great to justify the lack of space, sound-proofing, and actual humans to help.

Communicating with this property is virtually impossible. Yes, you can text them but unfortunately the agents are not well trained and any kind of response is usually very untimely making it very challenging to make plans. For example, I requested early check-in for Noon; received an email at 2:31 saying I could now check-in at Noon. Terrific.
I could go on. Unfortunately the property tries to replace helpful, pleasant human interaction with automation and texts and fails miserably.

This is a great place to stay if you’re only going to be in town for one or two nights. Any longer (or if you plan to spend a lot of time in your room) then you might be more comfortable in a traditional hotel.
That said, aside from the fact that it’s pretty bare bones (ex. There’s not a proper closet, no daily housekeeping, no parking included) and that noise carries a lot, this is a great hotel for a business traveler. All of the self service features were easy to understand and access and the texts were helpful and frequent. When there was staff on site (in the daytime), they were super friendly and helpful. Plus you get free water and snacks. Also a great neighborhood with lots of good food within a short walk.
