This is the second time we have spent a weekend trip here at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and nice, and the staff made us feel welcomed and were helpful and just very nice! We will definitely come back here for a trip to Ocala, whether it’s for Ocala Comic Con or Brick City Anime festival

Stayed one night for work. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Front staff was very nice and helpful. Right by the road but we never heard the traffic. Check in and check out was a breeze. I will definitely be staying again next time I'm in town.

Clean room and good for a quick stay. WiFi was a little in and out and often times very slow. Overall it’s a good spot to get some rest. Would recommend.

The room was clean and everything worked. I only have 2 problems. The Room only had one chair. So if me ian my wife, we're watching tv, one of us had to sit on the bed, it doesn't seem right to me. Ask for another chair.And they said they didn't have any. No breakfast, but we went to denny's.Everyday. The road noise in the morning was a bit crazy and loud.

I have stayed at this Red Roof at least ten nights in the past two years but I think the quality has gone down. The bed needs to be changed! The mattress had broken box springs and whomever was in the room on the floor above me seemed to be running when not moving furniture for hours!

The room I stayed in smelt like wet dog and mildew the moment I walked in the door. I had to spray my own personal perfume in it in order to be able to bear the smell. The air conditioning didn’t work the greatest. Front office staff were nice. The whole Hotel smelt very musty

The staff was great. I cannot blame them at all. They were very helpful. However, fire alarms went off at around midnight, it was the third time that day. I'm traveling with small children, I take no chances. Spent about an hour outside waiting for them to go off along with a bunch of other Hotel guests who ended up leaving at that time. I expected to be compensated with some kind of discount for my stay. I have been in a hotel before where fire alarms went off through the night and I did not even have to ask, they just refunded my night. I understand that the staff cannot control the alarms, but the hotel needs to be responsible for making sure guests have a pleasant experience during their stay... its basic customer service, Especially when the alarms were triggered by people smoking inside their room... At least that's what we were told us upon checking out. I spoke to the lady at the counter who took my info so the manager could give me a call. The lady was very pleasant and very professional. It has been over a week and I'm still waiting for the manager to call me. They told me they could not refund my money because I had booked through orbitz. I understand the while 3rd party booking thing. Again, it's been over a week and I'm still waiting for the manager to call me.

Cheap/no frills place to stay. Stayed 1 night. Room was clean but it had a humid/damp feeling with a musty smell. The fire alarms went off multiple times in the middle of the night. Apparently they have a very sensitive system so if you take a hot/steamy shower or cook something in the microwave you may set it off. No communication from the staff when the alarms were going off. Glad there was not a fire because people were going back to their rooms even when going off.

The workers who clean the room did an awesome job they were kind courteous and polite

The place was quiet nice and clean Airy and spacious love the design of the building in the inside but didn't like the sink thing whatever that was it was too outdated and old and I love the floors it was different from having carpet at hotels

Nice hotel

We needed a place to rest for the night on the way to southern Florida. I chose this place because it was right off the highway and had 8/10 reviews. I don’t know how. When we were checking in, a man who had rented a room and the front hotel staff were arguing loudly about the condition of his room. This was a red flag, but it was 2 AM and we were traveling with kids, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. The room was disgusting. Whoever ‘cleaned’ it just changed the sheets. The bathroom was was clearly dirty and there was dried toothpaste and God knows what else all over the bathroom counter and the bottom of the shower. The shower water only got lukewarm, so didn’t attempt on showers. The air conditioner barely worked and the entire room felt damp. The TV only has one channel. If it wouldn’t have been the middle of the night we would have left. Wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend.
