This was a really nice hotel in the middle of the Berkshires. Wish we could have stayed longer. It's an updated hotel of Holiday Inn with hooks for backpacks to be hung from.
There's also enough room to put two suitcases side by side below the backpack hooks. Bathroom is also spacious and has nice clean lines. It also has an extra towel hook behind the door. There's also a grab bar beside the tub. 👍👍

Our stay was very good for the most part. Our room was number 140. We had to turn our air conditioner off as it became very loud during the night. The man who was working at breakfast was fantastic!!!!!! He was the best we have ever had!!!

I found the hotel to be clean, in good condition, and the staff was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful! I thought the breakfast was delicious (the eggs were soft and fluffy!). We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, so I can’t comment on that, but if I’m in the area again, I’ll stay here! Highly recommend!

We were awoken at 6:05 am by a fire alarm and made to leave the hotel until the fire department came to turn off the alarm.

Door to our room was so sticky you had to bang into it shoulder first. Toilet seat and shower bar were broken.
Pool paint was peeling and we had to go to the front desk to request towels. Trash on the pool deck.
Breakfast was “not cooked” per my husband. One toaster that appeared to be powered by a single candle.
My husband took a shower and reported that “you could tell when others started showering because the water pressure went down to nothing “.
So glad that we only stayed for one night!

Very nice place! Great pool and hot tub. A shower at the pool area would’ve been a nice addition to rinse off chlorine. Overall a great value for the money spent.

My plans unavoidably changed twice. I had to reduce my original reservation by one day. Later, I had to request a second day be removed. The hotel’s management refused and maintained charging me for the additional day that I would not be at the hotel. It was a graduation weekend so the hotel was full and surely they booked the room that I’d already paid for after I checked out. Also, the HVAC in the room was making a lot of noise. So much that maintenance had to come change out the entire unit. Lastly, there was a stale smell in the hotel room. I would not recommend.

We will be back. Great hotel, great breakfast, great staff. Pool was open late so the kids were able to swim after dinner.

The room was very clean, spacious, good water pressure in shower and sink and I. Particular their were no issues with water drainage in sink or shower which we can not say about the Marriott chain and most other hotels we’ve stayed at. As a family we’ve gotten into the habit of running shower and sinks before we settle on to our room and oftentimes we need to switch to a room that has no plumbing issues.
The beds and linens at Holiday Inn Express were extremely comfortable.
The amenities are bare-bones but our priorities are on cleanliness, comfort, safety, and exceptional hotel staff of which this Holiday Inn Express in Great Barrington delivered.
Note: this particular hotel chain is very popular with families and during the breakfast “crush” the dining area can get quite crowded. Having said that, we were amazed by the dining staff who always has replenished coffee and we’re attending to the multiple requests of other guests.

I'm a non smoker and was traveling alone. I had staff come to room twice during the night stating the room smoke alarm was triggered. Staff wanted to check there was no smoking per the policy and there wasn't but didn't appreciate staff walking in uninvited to check.

The place was in a nice location, close to The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy. Staff (Jai and Steven) were great. The room was clean. Breakfast was good.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The property was nice, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included a nice variety of items. Something for everyone.

Not clean. No bathroom soap in our room. All of the antiseptic cleansers were empty.
