We stay in Daytona every year at Thanksgiving. Last year we stayed somewhere else because of availability and regretted it. We made sure that we booked early this year to make sure that we got Bahama house definitely worth staying here.

Room was nice. Had a nice view of the ocean off the balcony. There was a slight smell in the corner of bathroom area which was surprising because the room was very clean.

The Bahama House exceeded my expectations. Very clean. We had a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it for couples or families. Biker friendly! The ocean view is amazing and the balcony is very nice.

You cannot beat the price for ocean view room. You can book a partial view and still have a gorgeous view of the Atlantic. Bathrooms are run down and the drain in the sink smelled like musty towels. Shower tiles looked new but sloppy paint job on the trim. Nice little kitchen included. Continental breakfast had expired food. Not great. But for the price you cannot beat the location. Checkin lady wasn’t exactly friendly but checkout lady was very nice. Nice selection of sand toys for kids. Overall I’d probably stay there again.

Loved staying here. This was our first big trip together and we wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else! When we come back, because we will, it’s gonna be in this hotel 10000%. The staff always came while we were gone and cleaned and replenished everything, almost everyday, even without asking! Amazing! If I could rate more than 10/10, then I would!!

I was very disappointed at check-in. The lady that helped us was extremely rude and disrespectful. You may want to consider new staff to deal with your guest as they check in. She was very mouthy and extremely rude eating, smacking her mouth while eating talking to us.

Honestly, this is a very nice hotel We stay in Daytona a lot, and this is one of the best hotels that we probably had and it was on the cheaper side they serve free complementary drinks and breakfast in the mornings. The only thing that bothered me was that it was a very long walk to the pier there and back was about 4 miles .but we had an oceanfront view room and it was really pretty. Right on the water. Can’t beat that! All of the staff They all seem very nice and friendly. We usually don’t have any room service or cleaning done in our room while we stay at hotels, but when we ask for extra towels and soaps, they were given to us and she was very nice we made sure to give her a tip . And we always make sure to leave the rooms nice and clean before we leave. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We came for a short 2 night trip. Me, my adult son and his fiancé. Rooms next to each other, not convinced.

We come every Labor Day weekend. It is clean very pretty, right on the beach. My grandchildren love it there!!!!

I finally got it right!! I selected an Ocean Front Room at Bahama House. My husband loved sitting on the bahama and watching the waves roll in. He loved feeling the breeze. We were thrilled that our room was large and it had a kitchenette with a large refrigerator and stove top with dishes and silverware and a toaster and a microwave. We were extremely pleased that. staff routinely brought fresh towels and emptied our trash cans and cleaned our room. The breakfast was just so-so. Next visit, I will bring groceries and prepare breakfast. The bathroom was just so-so. Overall, we were thrilled that I got it right when I reserved the Ocean Front Room with the kitchen.

Hotel an staff was great. We stayed for 5 days. The first couple days the pool water was clean and clear. After that it was cloudy and seemed dirty. Other guests said that the front desk was informed but it only got worse and we never saw anyone do anything about it.

We have been visiting Daytona Beach for years, and the Bahamas House has consistently been our hotel of choice. The staff is wonderful and welcoming. The ocean views from the rooms are absolutely stunning.
The hotel is well maintained, with great amenities.
Overall, the Bahamas House offers an exceptional experience that keeps us coming back year after year.

We liked the beach and the pool

We stayed in the “family suite” which basically is 2 attached guest rooms, one of which, has been changed into a large sitting area, with sleeper sofa, kitchenette and half bath. Loved the amount of space. Only negative was we were charged $10 per person per night for “extra” guests. We had a family of 4, thus paying more for the “family suite” which sleeps 6. Bahama House said this is their policy to charge extra if more than 2 guests. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay here was really great. Enjoyed the daily free breakfast and cocktail hour. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room smelled high of cleaning products on arrival, (I'm sensitive to smells) but eventually it was fine. Great views and the best location on the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice, clean, renovated. Access to sea and swimming pool so convenient. Easy and free parking. The beach in front was so calm like a swimming pool. Nice continental breakfast. Rented equipmen for the beach, nice view. Nice price. We Loved it!

The room was nice and clean with a beautiful view. The lady who checked us in was extremely helpful, although I did overhear another staff member complain to her colleague that she was being too helpful which annoyed me. Helpfulness is what is expected in hospitality.
I wish I remembered the name of the person who checked us in because I would love to give her kudos as she went above and beyond for us.
