Beautiful room but unfortunately it smelled like sewage for the majority of our stay. We also never got any WiFi in the room during the three days we stayed there. The staff didn’t seem to care and said if I really needed internet I could just sit in the lobby.

Overall a nice hotel. A bit dated. Weird pillows. They give you 1 regular pillow and a very small pillow. I don’t get the point of it. Just give 2 full size pillows per side of bed.

Centrally located. Excellent parking. Functional bedroom (in this case slight tobacco smell) , minimal amenities, hardly any plug. Restaurant: average, good breakfast.

This hotel has a very nice courtyard that my wife, daughter, and I enjoyed in the evenings. The bar provides full service if you want to enjoy drinks. The breakfast was typical German fare, with lots of cheese and sausage. I thought the hotel was great value for the money. It's also in easy walking distance of the market square and cathedral, and I felt very safe with my family.

Excellent location and a very nice hotel

Very nice property. My only complaint is that when we checked in, we were told we got an “upgraded room” with a nice view, which we hadn’t requested. That was fine with us, the view didn’t matter to us at that hotel. What we realized that night was that ours was one of a few rooms in the hotel where the AC didn’t work. It was hot there and that has been one of a very few priorities we have when booking hotels. They brought us a fan that was loud and only mildly helpful.

This hotel is simply superb. It is nicely laid out; it is situated in the centre of the fantastic town of Trier, and it is in every way a nice place to stay. It is modern and very clean. There is a nearby underground carpark which is connected to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and the sleep quality is 100% perfect with no noise at all. The only thing that cost this rating a star is the service. When I visited it took ages to get serviced by a clearly overloaded waiter and the restaurant was full which is rather idiotic when they have not considered the number of guests they accommodate. Will I stay again? No, here are better and more convenient hotels in Trier.

Great location! Too bad I had to pay for parking. They say ‘on-site’ but they fail to mention it costs about 15 Euros.

We only stayed one night, but the central location was great for us. Sightseeing within walking distance (tour organised by the tourist info was very good). Good sizes room, comfy bed, all clean and in working order. Would happily go back.

Hotel was in an excellent location, right in front of the bus stop and next to the old town. Beautiful rooms, clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. My only complaint would be that the pillows on the bed are awful. There was no loft whatsoever and they flatten immediately when you lie on them. We asked for additional pillows and were given 4 more which was the perfect stack.

Placed very central. Within walking distance from every sight. Bed where nice and spacious. Due to very increasing numbers of corona in Trier, we thought about cancelling this stay. We where talking with the hotel, prior to arrival and the lady at the beginning, where very nice and helpful, as for the next one, we where transferred to, couldn't care less. Refusal could have been giving in a more politely way..or at least pretend to understand. .

Very satisfied with our stay. The room was perfect, bathroom as wll. Breakfast was very good. All what you needed. Service optimal. Very kind staff. Central placed in Trier. Parking reasonable, We recommend this hotel.

Our stay here was very pleasant. The staff are all very friendly, the bar is well stocked and had a great cocktail menu, and our room was clean. Best of all, the air conditioning was pumping! It was an easy walk to the main attractions of the city from the hotel.

This was a lovely property in a terrific location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant serves a very nice breakfast.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Property is stunning and conveniently located. There is a ski lift that takes you to the neighboring town, reindeer that you can watch and feed, and unlimited trails... Food was exceptional. A unique and amazing find!

Nice location. Up to date décor. My only issue was with the lighted Roman head decoration in the room. The light would only turn off if you removed your room card and lost electricity in the room. That is not helpful if you are charging phones/camera batteries. Therefore there was a bright light on in the room all night.

Very central position near main square and cathedral.Good all day bar in front lobby.Breakfast bar excellent but not possible to have a light snack in the evening.
