Enjoyable time meeting other guests during breakfast and making s'mores by the fire pit at night.

I spent two relaxing nights midweek in August, enjoying the setting, pool, staff and guests. My dog cost extra but that’s understandable and he was welcomed by all but the resident cat, who rightly held her own. I would definitely visit again.

Cottages on River Road is incredible! After an 8 hour drive, I walked into an incredibly nice room which was also extremely clean. The tub was perfect for a long soak. The set up of the cottages around a central courtyard, and the lush plants and flowers, was very nice. I wish I could have stayed longer, and can only hope to pass through the area again!

Room was very clean, people were nice, very quiet and peaceful feeling, and they would bring out s’mores at night and we made them with fire pit. Breakfast was good and definitely going back

Love the vibe here; darling standalone cottages situated under towering redwoods. The evening firepit and complimentary s’mores is precious. Especially loved the complimentary breakfast. They held our luggage all day after we checked out so we could use the river. We will return.

We had a nice time

Our stay was just what we needed on our little getaway from the Sacramento heat. Our cottage/room was clean, bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The pool was very enjoyable after a long day of exploring the area. Will stay here again!

There were restaurants in walking distance. They had views of the Russian River. The pool was warm and well kept.

Awesome time and the staff was great!

This place is a little gem, the staff and surrounding area are awesome. We have stayed at several dog friendly places in and around Guerneville and are so happy to finally stay here. Our room was clean and nice, but the mattress and pillows need an update- our bed was super firm yet bouncy as all hell- the pillows were also a bit lacking- But outside of that a nice little breakfast coffee spread in the lobby and a lovely garden and heated pool.

The room was cozy. Temperature controlled so you can make it cozy to your comfort level. Everything felt clean. Pillows were fluffy and soft. Staff was helpful immediately with anything asked of them. Atmosphere was perfect. Inviting for everyone. And the flowers, the aesthetic, all beautiful. Will definitely come back.

The landscaping was really pretty. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the smores provided. The included breakfast was pretty good. The breakfast sandwiches were outstanding

For it's price point, an excellent property. Nice newly remodel & updated and clean & well-kept cottages, beautiful "courtyard" gardens and property. Excellent breakfast, well beyond the typical low-budget motel continental version. Greatly enjoyed my stay.

This is a sweet oasis in a highly sought after summer vacation area. I love the private, interior garden with the pool and the fireplace area. The staff are so friendly and supportive.

I really enjoyed my stay here and I will come again. Cathy and Deanne were very helpful and pleasant. Charlie made great fires in the fire pit each night and monitored the s’more supplies to make sure we had plenty. My room had a coffee maker with plenty of coffee and tea selections. They had coffee in the lobby too. They provided a generous breakfast: Slow cooked oatmeal with all the additions, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, muffins and English muffins with all the condiments. Coffee and juice. I probably forgot something… I was impressed! There are restaurants about a mile away, As well as a nice Safeway. Main Street bistro in Guerneville had good food, great service and fun live music. It is fairly close to the coast and about 25-35 minutes to the coast and much less expensive. Duncan Mills Oscara good place with fun shops to check when going to the coast too! I’ll be back!

Very nice property, they even make a campfire at night and provide smores. The cabins are very nice.

I am normally hesitant to book pet-friendly rooms because of allergies, but our cottage was squeaky clean. Everything was comfortable, in good taste, with little extra touches showing pride of ownership. We’ll be back.

The Cottages on River Road is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is terrific. The rooms are smallish but very nicely furnished and comfortable. It’s lovely to relax with a cup of tea and look out at the fire in the evening. Beautiful location in the redwoods.
