Very friendly staff, Mario was so kind and Fulvia also was very polite and helpful with recommendations including 2 great restaurants. Not luxurious but very good location and very clean.

We had a great time at Hotel La Pensione Svizzera! The staff were really helpful with all sorts of little requests. The room was lovely, the breakfasts were great, the views were fantastic, and the hotel is really well located for the centre of town, the cablecar to the beach and the bus station.

The property had a great location close to the city gates and cable cart to the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They had a great added benefit of having relationships with beach clubs, which would organise transfers from the hotel. Overall great place to base yourself in Taormina without burning a hole in your wallet.

Great location and great view. Close to everything

This property was gorgeous and the view from the breakfast terrace was very picturesque. The entire staff (receptionists Flavia and Antonella, waiters Mario, Mateo, and Masimo, along with the chambermaids) were exceptionally polite, friendly, and very helpful. The same applies to Pietro, the proprietor of this hotel, who continues to operate this establishment that has been in his family for generations with utmost professionalism and courtesy toward his guests. My wife and I loved our stay there and would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was dated

You truly can't beat this location! The hotel is a little outdated but quite charming. The breakfast overlooking the water was a highlight. Friendly staff too. Only complaint is that internet was spotty and parking can be difficult to find

This is an adorable boutique hotel. The rooms were small but lovely. My only complaint was the bedding and the hard pillows. The views were amazing. The staff attentive. Very close to the cable cars down to the beach area. I would stay again.

Had room 108, no point having elevator when you still have to carry suitcases to your floor up a set of stairs. Very noisy could hear people above and beside you. Street noise very bad. Probably the worst room in the establishment

What a nice little hotel. There is a cat inside and the breakfast is good with a nice view. Room is nice. Easy to walk into town. Nice staff. Good shower with hot water and good water pressure

Good location but had to pay for parking 20 Euros per night somewhere else.

We appreciated the helpful and smiling staff, they gave us access to our room to drop off our suitcases so we could walk around Taormina, to have some peace make sure you stay on the upper floor as the walls and the ceiling is made of paper, it's difficult to sleep without being woken up by every noise!

Great location on edge of taromina town looking over the cable car. 3 min walk to entrance to old town. Great room comfortable and with a great shower. Patio and breakfast area is a great space with comfortable outdoor furniture. We spent an hour in the late afternoon just relaxing
