Hotel needs major updating. The carpets everywhere in the hotel were very worn out and dirty with visible stains everywhere. The smoke detector in our room would go off every time I would blow dry my hair. The key cards had to be reprogrammed daily. Was not worth the money we had to pay to stay for 6 nights.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. However, when we walked into the room, there was a large red stain right inside the door. I mistook it for vomit at first but it looked like a bleach stain. The bath tub was so slippery from cleaner or something, that I almost fell a few times until enough water had rinsed it off. It sad to see the state of this hotel, as I remember it brand new and being a top of the line hotel. It really needs some updating.

Very good experience – we were hung up by an accident so came in very late, and the receptionist allowed us to stay an extra hour. The pool was comfortable temperature, breakfast was good, room, very clean and comfortable.

This used to be our go to for hotels for apts or hockey tournaments. It has been a while since I booked and honestly was surprised about the condition of the hallways, room, rugs. Hot tub wasn’t working and neither was elevator. Our room has massive stains on the rug. Sad, hopefully some upgrades will be done soon. Especially for the price you pay.

The property was conveniently located to great restaurants shopping and the university but the carpets need to replaced as they were filthy with stains throughout the building.The microwave in the room was cheap and either burnt or undercooked items. We had to change rooms (which they were totally accommodating with st no extra charge) as we were on the first and the thumping and banging above us was intolerable. We were moved to a family room on the top floor and found peace so we could sleep. The structure of the building is cheap with no sound proofing throughout. Will not book there again.

Our initial room smelled horribly! The carpet is well overdue to be replaced. There was also no functioning window. We were moved to a larger room that was in much better shape, so that was appreciated. However for $280 a night with tax the first double Queen room was pretty awful.
Breakfast was decent for this type of hotel. The pool area looked extremely uninviting - and we didn’t go for a swim.

Stayed 1 night with 2 small kids. Pool is very deep even in shallow end. Hotel is very nice and room was clean but hallways and elevators are dated and smell funky. Would stay again.

Friendly staff and room was quiet. The rugs in the hallway are tired, and our ceiling in the living area had some kind of reddish brown stains (hopefully wine). Nothing a quick freshen up coat of paint wouldn’t cure. Continental breakfast was well supplied and maintained, eating area was clean.

The sofa’s were stained and they were hard to pull out into bed and put back. The mattress was super thin but enough for a good nights rest. Pillows on the bed were firm but thankfully the pillows in the drawers were softer and more comfortable.
There were no towels in the swimming area when we went at 6:30pm. We had to ask for some from the front desk and bring a couple extra for others. The towels themselves were small.
It was nice that the coffee machine was unlimited and 24/7. The breakfast only had one cooked item a pancake machine otherwise you had to eat up hard boiled eggs or use the coffee machine for hot water for oatmeal.
In the breakfast lounge you couldn’t sit near the walls because the AC was blowing down on you and the tables would normally seat 2 had four chairs.
No controls or thermostats for AC in our room under the window.

The room smelled extremely stale. Carpets in the room and hallways were so worn that everything felt very dirty but the room was very clean. The staff was friendly, responsive and helpful. Breakfast opened at 5am and pool stayed open until 11pm. The hours of these services were why I booked the room and these met my expectations.

We enjoyed our stay and how close it was to all the things we wanted to do. Breakfast was a little disappointing, was hoping for some meats and eggs at least, there were pancakes, cereal, bagels/toast, fruits and yogurt...but couldve used some proteins for sure. The hot tub was more like a warm tub, it wasn't hot at all and there was a lack of towels. Overall, the purpose of our stay is to have somewhere comfy to rest our tired bodies after a lot of hiking. It was a nice hotel and we could consider staying again if breakfast upgrades in the future.
