This is the cleanest hotel I've ever been to! The pool area is especially impressive. Often pool areas are dirty, wet, and slippery. I usually will not walk around a pool area without sandals, but the Alanda was very clean and I felt comfortable walking around without shoes.
In addition, the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was delicious. The location is close to the port and old town, without it being in the middle of the city. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back.

The hotel has a very good location. They have a good restaurant called Manuka in which I enjoyed breakfast a couple of times. The rooms are clean and their overall condition is good. Staff are usually friendly except in few cases.
One incident I found unprofessional from the satff is when my friend asked for a bottle of water at the lobby during one of the nights. The staff member told him to buy it from the room service! After we complained to him that it’s a 5 stars hotel and a bottle of water for your guests shouldn‘t bother he finally gave us. Also another friend lost 70 euros that he left in his backpack at the room. It‘s totally our fault but this is for your attention to keep your money inside a safe box when staying.

Large hotel on Golden Strip. There's a great restaurante downstairs. We only stayed on night as we had reservations across the street.

What a phenomenal stay!! This crew really knows how to run a hotel and they really know how to make every single guest feel so welcome! The property itself is beautiful with gardens all around. There are three separate residential buildings. The pool is tremendous and they have an immaculately clean gym. In fact, the entire property is immaculately clean. The bedsheets were so soft and the room was very big by European standards. The whole design of The Alanda is amazing and for me what was really special was learning that they are a wellness hotel. The food is fabulous and in my opinion this is the only place to stay when you’re in Marbella!

Valentine night treat. We had a table reservation at the Thai gallery restaurant which is located at La Plaza within Puente Romano hotel. I decided to stay at the 5* Alanda hotel as it is perfectly located just 50m away and was 1/3 of the price Puente Romano, Nobu and Marbella Beach club. The hotel was clean, offered good sized rooms and an excellent buffet breakfast. I would highly recommend if you want the facilities offered by a the exclusive hotels nearby but at a fraction of their cost.

This is the worst hotel and worst breakfast in all of Spain. And I've traveled the entire country extensively. Our air conditioning was also broken during the heat of the summer and having a family of four's laundry done was 583 euros.

Just to be clear if you are expecting any bit of luxury here you will be severely disappointed. Room is on par with a holiday inn. They take nice pictures of the pool, but their main building doesn’t even have a pool. You have to walk across a parking lot to get there. Called the front desk for water. Guy said “you have to come down and get it. I’m the only person here” we had breakfast included but didn’t even go based on how bad everything else was.
