Extremely helpful and kind people. The front desk, the breakfast & dinner crew, the engineer, the breakfast food choices were all fantastic.
The engineer, David(?name)serviced my heating issues in record time. He was very helpful repairing other concerns too.
He saw me struggling while checking out. Mr David, went ABOVE & BEYOND to assist me. I witnessed his sincere kindness to other guests too.
The graciousness and family environment was very welcoming here. I'll return for a staycation one day soon.

VERY DISSATISFIED!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Our room wasnt ready when we checked in, was told we could wait in the lobby while housekeeping finished. It took OVER AN HOUR to get into our room. But dont worry, thet brought us each a bottle of aquafina and a bag of chips, to go along with the complimentary coffee left from breakfast.
THEN...Our toilet didnt flush. Went to the front desk to tell them and they handed me a PLUNGER!!!
THEN when we went to pull out the bed for the kids we were disgusted to find what looked like white stains from bodily fluids on the cushions. I took pictures, but conveniently, it wont let me add any pictures to my review.
Needless to say, I was repulsed by the entire experience.

We could not use the pool. The chemicals were not balanced.It made my children and other children cough. We were forced to leave.Breakfast on Monday morning was a disaster. We arrived at 8:55. Eggs,sausage,potatoes,bagels,bread,cottage cheese, muffins,canned fruit,walnuts all depleted. I asked the team member to replenish. He brought out a few serving of eggs 10 minutes later. He did not replenish anything else. Other guests were complaining too.Breakfast ended at 9:30. Why would so many items not be available? Hotel was clean. The agent that the front desk in the evening was very nice . A blanket was not supplied for the sleeper sofa. The front desk said they were out of blankets on Saturday night. I was able to get the last blanket Sunday night. The guest behind me asked for a blanket but did not receive one. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had a pleasant experience. It was not a good experience this time.

We were initially given a room that was stripped of all the bedding like someone started to clean it but didn’t finish. When we were given another room it was okay but there wasn’t any extra pillows and there was old coffee still in the sink. Either someone doesn’t pay their housekeeping staff enough to care or they don’t give them enough time to really clean.
The breakfast was great though and you can’t beat the price. Everyone was really friendly and even though it wasn’t as high class as I thought it was going to be it was still super charming and a great place for our family vacation. Far enough away from Chicago to be able to sleep well but close enough to get to all the awesome activities in the Chicago area.

Great place to stay and tons of options. Lost their liquor license so that was a bummer but snacks and drinks were available in the shop. Great stocked kitchen and friendly staff.

For the property to be pet friendly they were extremely clean! Our room was spacious for our whole party and they even had dog stations for pet owners! First time being at a pet friendly hotel and I will say I definitely will be returning! The front desk staff was also very accommodating with extra sheets and pillows and me and my family were very happy with our stay!

The staff members were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel rooms need a good deep cleaning. I found a pair of used socks under our bed from a previous guest. Carpet still had food crumbs on it when we arrived. Doors inside the room were hard to close.

Room was gross. Unclean dishes and utensils, unclean sheets, smell coming from the room. Overall it seems we had a room that hadn’t been used in a while or they cut corners to clean. Also the pull out couch is not a bed - it was springs in a sheet. Thin and extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast was nothing special but expectations were low. Hotel needs remodeling and would recommend other option in the area.

We stayed with our dog and the unit was nice. It had all the kitchen tools including pots, pans, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher, utensils etc. The TV had all major channels including sports and hbo. The bed was a bit small for us. I think it was a double bed and it's pretty close to the bathroom which makes it hard to isolate from the noises. The breakfast was nice. It had options in a buffet-like setting. The staff was also nice. There are also nearby restaurants (fast food, mexican, asian options available) if you need to dine in or for take out.

It was a little bit of a maze getting to my room, but other than that, it was a very quiet, clean, & comfortable hotel & room. The temperature in the room was super cold, & I couldn’t adjust it. I’d say that was the one downfall. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

Very nice hotel! It was right next to the venue for a party we were attending, so it was very convenient! Plenty of parking and the rooms were pleasant and clean. Well-stocked pantry store and good complimentary breakfast in the morning.
