A £5 per night charge to park your car in an out of town hotel is taking the mickey. We had a family room and the twin beds for children had a bit of camp bed feel, very low down. In fairness, they were comfortable, if not a little odd. Other than that, it was a good hotel in a convenient location for the eurotunnel, and I’d use again (including begrudgingly paying the parking fee).

The staff are helpful, friendly and professional. The Maidstone Villiage Hotel caters for every need and is accessible to wheel chair users (even pool side). I feel if the food was a better standard rather than "Okay" this hotel would be a little gem. I will stay again :)

Our stay was very nice, the rooms are very clean and spacious with a Dyson fan in the room and a big tv on the wall. The bed is comfortable and very big. Bathroom is lovely has a walk in shower with two showers. Has a hair dryer, ironing board and iron in the room with tea and coffee facilities. The pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub and gym are good too. The staff are friendly. The hotel is close to a beefeater and only a 30 min walk in to Maidstone town, also can get a return cruise trip over to Maidstone in the day which is really nice. Would definitely recommend and will come back to stay here.

Good service

Lovely clean room not much choice of food on the Menu quite expensive for what you get foid wise.

Waited over 8 minutes to be served at bar to order food. The bartender said she needed to get change for the till and did not come back until after another person saw me waiting and did my order. Ran out of the food I wanted ( mixed grills) then 30 minutes to get salmon and powdered potatoes and then to eat it with kids playing football in the bar. So noisy and although kids about a woman swearing and messing about boxing! A terrible evening experience and no staff member to put this in order. A health and safety issue.

Arrived at the hotel at 3:30pm and set up in the bar area to finish work with a colleague. The bar was being used by members of the traveling community and by 5pm it was rather rowdy and time for us to leave. This is where the fun started, kids running up and down corridors screaming, a young child left in the room alone crying for his mum until midnight. Then someone thought it would be fun to go into the ceiling void and pull wires out of the fire alarm system. This resulted in 2 fire engines and 3 police vehicles to attend to deal with the issues and a long spell outside waiting for it to be sorted. I wouldn't use this hotel again.

Great stay

Arrived to see all of the disabled car park spaces occupied (and there is a lot) but no disabled badges on show. Self checkouts don’t work for supermarkets, they certainly have no place in a cheap hotel. Very un-user friendly. The room was hot and noisy with the windows closed. We had no option due to the noise from all the machinery down below, outside. The room overlooked bins, shipping containers, and ironically noisy air conditioning fans - but no air conditioning in the room. The kitchen extractor fans added to the noise. Throughout the night and the early hours, drunken guests and families running around corridors, slamming doors, shouting and talking kept us awake. Bedroom looked grotty. The bathroom is painted brown, which doesn’t help when you shave. Beds were very comfortable though with comfy pillows, but the child bed is a mattress on the floor. We found an unused tampon under our bed. Weekend breakfast not available before 0730, so a little disappointing for those travelling for early ferries or shuttle.

Such lovely staff. We wish we could remember all their names. The Polish lady, Aneta goes above and beyond. We love her. Amazing swimming pool xxx

Our bed wasn’t made up and when I queried it they said it was because it’s hot, they didn’t offer to come and make it up The room was in need of a good clean and paint

Wayyy too hot they need to out ac it felt like sitting in a sauna overnight people were sleeping with their doors open.

The hotel is located on a busy road and the noise from lorries, cars and bikes is loud. Had to have the windows open as very hot in room and only a couple of poor fans to try and keep cool. As a result virtually no sleep and an uncomfortable night. Good points are the gym, pool, sauna and steam room are excellent and the breakfast was very well stocked and tasty.

Food in the pub wasn’t great. Room was too hot and the fans didn’t work properly. Bed wasn’t made.

Room was lovely, but absolutely needs air con, nobody slept as it was far far too warm, room service very average.

I have stayed here twice as convenient, but it's not my first choice. The rooms are OK, but the decor needs refreshing as the paint it chipped & tired. The parking; i had to pay and then park right at the back of a badly lit car park. The steps & entire car park needs better lighting as it's dangerous especially at night. Also if paying £100+ for a room, parking should be included as it's not like there is an option to park on the road. I must say that the room service was really good (once you can get the online page working to order)

Arrived late after a delayed flight no issues checking in and got to the room quickly. Enjoyed an uninterrupted sleep. Exactly what we needed.

Luxurious and good price with big pool and a gym. Starbucks does help loved our stay. Food wise service was slow and food very very pricey. Overall best hotel

Great stay. Easy check in. Had a meal in the bar which was good and service quick. Nice clean room and very spacious.

It’s a very good but basic hotel and the spa facilities are excellent along with the gym. If you don’t ok the club room it’s £5 for guests staying or £20 for a day pass…. Food is average nothing to write home about but Maidstone town cent is just down the road lots of different places to eat. I have stayed here on several different occasions and don’t really have a complaint other than the pillows

The room and bathroom were a brilliant size. And the bed was very comfortable. The cleanliness was very high.

We stay here regularly and on a few occasions the beds have been noisy and uncomfortable but other than that the facilities are great. The walls are thin

Staff very helpful. Hotel quite noisy.I was aware before staying that I would have to pay to use the pool and gym but was shocked that you had to pay for towels at the pool as an extra

The food in the pub was excellent. You can add buffet breakfast for 10GBP/day (which is actually a good price). You can walk into downtown Maidstone in about 20 minutes, but we went next to the motorway which isnt for the "faint of heart". Im sure the facilities were great (we had a club room) unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of order the days we stayed. I recommend you sign up for the rewards program and grab your free pint in the pub.

Have stayed at this hotel before, staff are friendly, gym & pool are both very good quality, restaurant food was very good, breakfast was also nice, the rooms are beginning to need a bit of a refresh, water was not very hot at all, we had several rooms booked all had the same problem with the water. We were attending a party at the hotel the buffet was excellent

It was Really clean it was a nice little getaway for me and my bf it has everything you need and lovely staff couldn’t complain

Room well equipped and comfortable, though quite stuffy even with the windows open. Not sure I would stay here in hot weather! Staff friendly. Car park costs extra but plenty of space. Has a gym and a pool. Easy to find from M20.

I liked room, pool, sauna , steam room . And car park was perfect . I really liked this hotel and i hope come back there soon .

Bed and pillows really comfy, supersized TV,shower at right temp so I didn’t need to faff just pushed a button to stop and start, best of all so quiet
