Comfortable beds. No frills. The shower soap caddy kept falling off the wall, which wasnt pleasant in the middle of the night.

Bed sheets were dirty (human hair on sheets, crumbs on comforter) and found a a used q tip on floor
Ceiling light fixture in the bathroom has exposed wiring/exposed housing
They only provided one bath towel in the room
Reception was pleasant about this and provided extra towels and set of clean sheets but didn’t have a housekeeper on duty at 4pm to clean room and re-make bed

Location can’t be beat for downtown Steamboat. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. Floors of room were filthy - just disgusting. Seemed like they hadn’t been steam cleaned/shampoo’d in a year with heavy mountain town use. My kids’ feet were black. I couldn’t find my shoes for a minute from the bedroom to the bathroom and my socks are ruined. Need better maintenance if you are going to have hotel carpet.

For the most part it was a nice little motel. But for the entire week that I was there both the pool and hot tub we're closed down for repair. And my room wasn't cleaned once and that entire week.

We stayed in an “apartment” in September. Kitchen was barely equipped. Bed linens were skimpy. We chose to make do for our 3 night stay, so perhaps these issues could have been improved had we pursued things with management.
Otherwise it was spacious, comfortable and clean with lots of windows/light and all modern appliances. I would stay there again but know to bring everything I need to cook and clean in the kitchen.

This is an older motel, but the location in downtown Steamboat is fantastic. Beds were comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful and the price is reasonable for Steamboat.

Really nice staff and stay for me going solo. Only one night but would definitely return here if needed. Right downtown for everything you need to walk is wonderful.

Great location for walkers! shopping, dining etc... staff was very nice, got us in a little early which really helped. Room was very small for 2 beds, but was clean and everything worked well including the A/C which was needed. I would stay here in a second

Great location and nice staff but hotel could definitely use some love...Room wasn't very clean, pool was so dirty we decided not to use, bathroom floor was so slanted I thought the whole building might fall over...time for some updates in my opinion!

Clean room, friendly staff, very walkable location on main street. Room was slanted to the right about 5 degrees. Pool was out of oreder but ifmyou wanted to swim you could go to a "sister" property a few blocks away.

In spite of convenient location, this property should be avoided. It was dirty and barely functional with a broken bed, dirty bathroom and air conditioner that was loud and barely operational. Front desk staff was nice but had no ability to fix issues. Not worth the high cost.

For $250 per night I was not that impressed. The room was supposed to have 2 Queen beds and instead they were double. The rooms were outdated and smelled stale. The pool was very dirty with algae on the bottom & when we asked to have it cleaned, they closed it for maintenance for the rest of our stay. The hot tub was closed also.

Great location just steps from shops and restaurants. The room was laid out well for privacy and clean. As it located on the main street through town, there was some traffic noise which was easily subdued with the AC fan.

The hotel is well located with easy access to downtown Steamboat Springs. Staff very friendly and professional. We had an accessible room and it was VERY accessible with lots of room, grab bars, and easy access. Bed was comfortable, room clean, and easy to get to. Parking is a bit of problem but not a big deal.

It was a great location. While we stayed there, there was construction so it was noisy. The Parking lot is not for small vehicles. Also the room could have been cleaner. The comforter was gross

Great location, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, and despite being across from office and near main road, it was quiet all night long - we slept great! Room had 2 queen beds, a small table which could double as a desk, 2 chairs for table so easy to sit and chat/eat/plan. Refrigerator and microwave were a nice bonus, especially if you are looking to save some on eating all meals out. Office lobby has good, strong coffee (free) with tables and chairs if you want a spot away from your room/sleeping family to visit or use laptop. No USB outlets in room, but enough outlets for all our re-charging needs. Friendly staff that helped us with restaurant rec's and other inquiries. Easy walking distance to downtown, restaurants, tubing. Short drive for other activities and even more budget-friendly restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my two night stay at The Nordic Lodge. Location was great and the room was very nice. Lots of construction next to the property. Pool looked nice and it was a lovely place to sit in the evening. The place could use some upgrades. It is definitely not a 5 star place, but I would stay there again as the price was less than other places and it fit our needs.
