Charming hotel on a beautiful property. Very spacious room with kitchenette, sitting area, plenty of closet space and nice views of the area. Close to everything.

What was good? -
Room was spacious
Room was clean
The bed was very comfortable
The view from the room was excellent
The shower worked well
The location was great, very central
The staff were pleasant (especially the staff member in the breakfast room)
What was not so good?-
The laminate flooring was old and chipped
The furniture was very marked and chipped and needed replacing
The sofa was old and dirty looking (it was marked)
The walls and skirting were scuffed and chipped and needed painting
The pool and the area around it was tired, and needed refurbished
The breakfast lacked choice and the hot food was not hot or of good quality.
The toaster dial was taped up, and it was very slow
The bar was non existent inside, and was only a portable table next to the pool. (The glass of wine i was given tasted terrible)
There were no nice little extras that you normally find in a 4 star place (such as: small toiletries (although there was hand soap and shower gel in a squeezy bottle on the wall), no drinking water, no tea/coffee machine etc
Overall, it was fine.Yes we could have complained, but there wasnt much they could have done about most of the things we would have complained about We were only staying 2 nights. It was just disappointing as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. No one asked how our stay was. Not even as we were checking out.

Very clean, staff were amazing, lots of stairs but had a chairlift. Very quiet at night but football field very close so lots of activity/cheering. Room was beautiful, we stayed in one of the round rooms pictured. Hotel is showing its age, but we would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to the beach and walkway.

Splurge for one of the round rooms in the original building. Best one is very top floor that you see in the pic - the view...the windows...the patio will be the crescendo of your vacation.The staff is lovely and so welcoming. The breakfast is simple and elegant but the coffee is the star of the meal.

Downgraded, our room was not available while I booked 2 months in advanced.
Paid a 217$ room to end up in a 70$ room.

very big room, with all what you need for cooking. A lot of space in the room. Maybe a little more forniture would be nice.
Clean badroom and nice small balcony. All with air cond and next to cascais casino and train station. Just in my room fridge was not working well, some strange colture in the ice space and a sandwitch of who know how many weeks before. They just forgot to clean it ??

Found the place easily. Lovely grounds, and restaurant area just beautiful. Very clean and spacious. Staff went far past the usual to help us with our nav system. Easy parking on site. Nearby restaurants with lots of choices.

The staff at this hotel is excellent. I give them high marks. The condition of this property is run down and shabby and definitely in need of an upgrade. The furniture in our room is old and needs to be replaced. The kitchen was not well equipped, no cooking utensils. The pool area and landscaping of the property could use an upgrade. The sofa in the lobby needs to go to the trash bin. Whoever owns this property needs to look at doing some serious upgrades. The staff should not have to deal with furniture that’s literally falling apart. The apartment is spacious. Furniture shabby and I need a replacement. Bedding and towels were fine.

Generellt kan man konstatera att hotellet inte längre uppfyller 4* status. I reklamen sägs det också att rummen är ljudisolerade och det stämmer EJ. Hel bygganden är lyhörd t.ex. så hör man vad som pratas i receptionen (vån 1) när du bor på vån 3 eller vån 2. Kan ej uttala mig om det andra huset. Underhållet är eftersatt så hela hotellet verkar slitet framför allt golven. Rummen med havsutsikt /stort) dåligt utrustade vad gäller möbler och det fanns t.ex ingen vattenkokare som man kunde koka kaffe eller te med anledning av att de inte hade någon bar/restaurang på hotellet.
Läget och utsikten från hotellet var strålande.
Personligen tror jag att hotellet har en lång uppförsbacke tillbaka till 4* status

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very cosy and the rooms are very big (mine was). The staff was incredibly friendly and helped me with everything I needed and they always had a smile on the face. The location is perfect and all in all I enjoyed it so much and would return back to this hotel again. Perfect atmosphere.

We had a very short stay of one night leaving before breakfast the next morning so we could not experience the service or facilities properly. The room on the top floor was lovely and with balcony. The pool was very nice area to relax .

Great hotel ideally located close to the Estoril Casino (birthplace of James Bond) and the Estoril beach. Train station is also located close by with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. A number of good restaurants nearby and why not pop in to Hotel Palacio before the casino for a cocktail in a genuine James Bond location. Rooms at Amazonia are clean, bright and spacious with a nice pool area and breakfast available. Staff are all welcoming and friendly with all Covid rules adhered to to ensure your stay is safe and comfortable.

Hotel direkt in der Stadt. Das Personal war super freundlich, vorallem die Bedienung. Service war super. Das Zimmer an sich war ein wenig abgenutzt und es war sehr laut. Man konnte das Treppenhaus und alles andere mithören im Flur. Ansonsten alles gut

Great location near the casino in Estoril. Swimming pool was great after a long drive. However, they charged us way over the odds for bottles of water and beer. The air conditioning wasn't great, and they seemed reluctant to fix it. The duo at breakfast were intense and kept on asking us to let them know if we needed anything. Doing their job, I guess, but it became uncomfortable. Also one staff member didn't realise I spoke Portuguese and was quite happily discussing us to a colleague in front of us. Fairly unprofessional, given that we stayed three days.

Great stay, all staff very helpful and friendly, spoke English. Hotel spotless. Good variety breakfast,beautifully presented. Our room 131 spacious and comfortable with great views of sea and surrounds. Would return.
Estoril is a good, location, nice walk by sea or road,(about 20 mins) or short train journey (2 stops) to Cascais centre. Other direction train to Cais do Sodre station, Lisbon. Buses outside station to Sintra, etc so travel easy and cheap by public transport.

Location was good for accessing restaurants and nearby attractions, this is an extremely difficult to find and to get in and out of but our room was excellent and very good value for the price. Beautiful grounds and dining area.
