The room furniture is original to the hotel construction. The room carpet is also original. The rooms are tired looking with an antiquated look. For this old tired dog eared look the rooms are not worth the exorbitant price.

I loved having a night light in the bathroom! My airconditioner was an okay noise level, but my son and his wife had a very loud air conditioner in their room. It made sleeping difficult.

I was in town for a race…and asked for a late check out such as nearly all the other hotels in the area were offering, and was told they would not honor late check outs, period. Good to know they are not willing to help athletes who come to town. Will reconsider where I stay in the future.

This property is in a good location. The furniture and bathrooms are very very old and worn. Not sure why the rates are so ridiculously high for an outdated hotel.

Pawn check in. I had a conversation with the woman at the desk and told her that I had a dog. She told me I needed to put a card on file for a deposit. I asked her how much she told me. $10 later she charged me a $65 pet fee, not deposit fee

Clean, friendly, and locale was convenient. Breakfast in am was not ready at 6am (as advertised) and we had event to attend. Pillows and beds not comfortable and room only temp was 65 degrees and very cold. If off, would get to 73 to warm. Would definitely look into getting package for room tvs to have streaming sites available to log in to or to cast to tv.

The hotel was well kept. Nice looking. the small indoor pool was perfect for a quick dip. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and good food. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The gym needs a set of barbells or other weights. It does have aerobic equipment, but there's plenty of room for a rack of barbells.
Without it, the fitness room is incomplete and doesn't meet Hampton Inn standards.
Also, our room, with one king bed had no microwave or fridge. This is a glaring deficiency, especially for a Hampton Inn. Please make sure all rooms have a microwave and fridge. It's expected by travelers.

There was no closet in our room and no notice thereof. There was also no microwave or mini-fridge, but I was expecting that based on the room description. The staff was nice enough to grant use of the common area microwave outside of breakfast hours. Also, we were there for Ironman Maryland and they actually set up the breakfast buffet at 4am for the athletes - super nice and a lovely surprise.

The stay was great.. the hotel lobby is nice and the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I think the only downside is that the breakfast closed down on the weekend at 10:00. I think it would be super nice to have at least a continental breakfast station until at least 11:00... Coffee and a biscuit go a long way - with a low cost.
