Comfortable and clean, great value. Undergoing renovation, but never heard workers. Walk-in shower instead of tub is a great addition. Room was large, bed comfortable. Wi-fi needs upgrading, though. Takes forever to finally get linked, slow response when connected. Overall, would stay again

Check-in was fast, and the room was clean and tidy. The TVs are set up so you can log into your Netflix account without any problems. Restaurants are within walking distance. This is my second time staying there, and it will likely not be my last.

Decent location around many other hotels. I believe Comfort is directly across the street and Hilton as well. The hotel has been updated and the updates have made a difference. We had a room with a sofa bed and it felt spacious. I slept well. The only thing I could suggest is the blanket/comforter could have been a bit thicker. It was a bit cold. Also, the old toilet paper holder is still attached to the wall even though they have a new one. It's a bit of an eyesore. The bathroom looks updated with the exception of the shower head and faucet. That could be updated to match with the rest of the bathroom. There were plenty of outlets for charging phones and devices, which was convenient. No view or indoor pool, but we were just there for the night while traveling, so was not an issue for us. There is only one small elevator, but it wasn't busy while we were there. I did take the stairs once and the stairway is surprisingly nicer than most others. Most hotel stairways are creepy. This one was very wide and carpeted stairs and well-lit. As a woman, this was appreciated.
The breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. Plenty of seating and a nice layout. A second waffle machine would be good for busy weekends. It was fine with just a short wait for week day. There was waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, apples, bananas, yogurt, muffins, bread and jam. I would stay here again.

The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. Our room 115 was directly across the hall from 2 ice machines. I asked to be moved and was not moved. The ice machines were loud. People filling coolers all night and early morning. We did not get good sleep both nights we were there.

My stay was okay the room was nice the service good room nice and clean for me every morning bed comfortable the shower I did not really like it I had to stand close to the wall under the shower in order to shower and another thing I did not like there was no where to sit outside the hotel if you want to go out for a smoke or just sit and get fresh air I was there for 6 days had to go to home 2 sweet to sit outside their Hotel just to sit out and enjoy the fresh air I have bad hip and knees the weather was nice I wanted to sit outdoors and had to go to other hotels just to get a seat outside and I am 70 ask the manager about sitting because of my hip she told me I could have bought a chair with me I come all the way from Chicago for a 6 night stay why would you tell me I could have bought a chair that was kind of rude and another thing about the hotel in Oxford I do not like the idea of pools outside the hotel I prefer a hotel that have a pool inside the hotel but I will not B going back there oh and the breakfast there should have been a choice of to meat's it would have been nice if there was a choice of pork or turkey sausages not all turkey sausages I like pork sausage there was bacon once out of my 6 day stay and the bacon was way overcooked.

Water pressure in the shower was non existent. Bathroom was not the cleanest. Visible stains and smears on the bathroom door and the floor. Bed was comfortable.

Hotel was and is going through a renovation. Our room had been updated, nice furnishings, awesome big walk-in shower.
Negative items: Bathroom mirror lights were too dim, small trash items left in bathroom floor, long black hairs were seen in various areas of bathroom and on a pillowcase. Definitely not mine since I have very short gray hair.
Positive items: Staff was wonderful, quiet, breakfast food was awesome, coffee was great. Overall our stay was pleasant.

This hotel is refurbished, not new. Pillow cases were stained or dirty, not sure which one. There was brown stuff around the caulking of the tub-shower. The ratings for this hotel are too high. I would not stay here again.

It was very stale smelling, maybe because they allow animals. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was ok. It just wasn't great.

We were in town for a sports tournament. We were only staying one night. We arrived late and left early. The lobby area had just been cleaned - looked and smelled nice. We were on the 3rd floor. The hall looked and smelled decent. When we opened our door the room had a strong cleaner smell. It seemed to calm down the longer we were in the room but once the air cut off we were consumed with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. It was really bad in the bathroom. When we got home and opened our suitcase that horrible smell smacked us in the face again. It was in our clothes 😞

The property was more than I expected it to be. The room was very nice. It was wrong and the sweet it was great. I loved it. I’ll stay there again. Can’t think of anything. I didn’t like about the room so it was great.

The room had everything I needed and wanted. Very clean and obviously recently remodeled. The front desk person put me in a room on the ground floor (I am 73 years old) near the exit so load in and out was easy and convenient. Exceeded my expectations in every way.

Out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at this is the first one that we haven’t had a single complaint. The hotel was very clean. They were always mopping. The pool was clean and didn’t have too much chlorine like what most hotels usually have. The staff was very friendly. Coffee was great.

I stayed here on a business trip. There are 6 or 7 hotels in the same area. Another hotel was full, so I booked this one based on the reviews. The property is freshly updated and looks great. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was well appointed and clean. The shower was amazing and the bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. This was a really quiet hotel. I only had coffee for breakfast, but it was good and easily accessible with flavored creamer. La Quinta has things I usually only expect from higher end hotels. I would definitely stay there again.
