Pleased to have been able to book online-- it was at full capacity for the evening. Not pleased by no hair dryer in the room-- called for one and was offered additional towels. Mentioned lack on check out, and desk associate showed me multiple new-in-box hairdryers stored in the cabinet directly behind the front desk-- pretty peeved.

Maintenance man tried to come in the room while two young (25 yr olds) females were asleep. Toilet wouldn’t work and no one cared or let us know when maintenance was coming.
Stains on the floor, smell of mold in the room, had to wait 45 minutes to an hour to check in because no one was prepared. Staff was rude and we were locked out of our room on a 2 night stay. We ended up leaving and moving to another hotel it was so bad.

Check in was incredibly fast and easy. The staff was super friendly and nice. The bed linens and bathroom linens were spotless, super white and fresh! I only had two issues: 1. There was a strong smell of a cleaner or air freshener in the room and 2. The grout in the bath tub was a little dirty.
Neither of these issues would cause me to not stay again. We had a great stay. Staff was remarkable!

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, hiwever the commode either would not flush or it ran all the time or flushed on its own. View from room wasnt what we expected, all we saw was rooftop of building so we kept curtains pulled the entire time. Pool was nit in service abd we had no idea until last night there that facility next door was affiliated with hotel we were staying in and that we could have used that pool. Found a used washed cloth from prior visitor hanging on shower curtain. AC stopped working the first night we were in room and had to place it on heat so it would start back cooling. Had to ask for new batteries in the tv remote. Was tild at check out that we were supposed to have been moved to a different room and never got that information until we were leaving.

This is probably just one room but our ac had been leaking and my bare foot found out. Some of our bags were along that wall and got a little wet. Other than that a great place to stay! The view from breakfast porch was amazing, and the service was excellent!

I liked the proximity to the college town and the ease of entering and leaving the parking area. The room was spacious and well equipped.
I didn't like that out of town contractors overwhelmed the parking area leaving little or no parking. Also our room was near a major highway and the road noise kept me up at night.

It was clean and reasonable priced. Our problem was with the water that didn’t get very hot and didn’t last before it got cooler. The sink didn’t drain very quickly and Water was backed up.

The location of the hotel was good, not too far from downtown and the college. That is about the only good i have to say. The hotel is in desperate need of cleaning or new carpet and furniture. The carpets in the halls and room were stai ed and dirty. I put a new pair of socks on while in the room, and they were black on the bottoms after a couple hours. The chair in our room had a large stain on the cushion as well. When we arrived there were several employees smoking in front of the entrance so we had to walk through a wall of smoke to enter. The pool was closed and you had to ise the one next door if you wanted to swim. That being said, the woman that checked us in was friendly.

There was nobody to check me in after a 12 hour drive. Took 15 minutes for desk clerk to show up. She was running this hotel plus the one next door. They turned off the water in the middle of the day with no warning - in the middle of my daughter’s shower. She had to sit with soap all over her body and shampoo in her hair for 20 mins. No hot water for my shower. I started laundry and had to redo it 3 times due to water being in and off. Fire alarm went off and woke us up very early on day 1. Lost a full day of vacation dealing with laundry and am angry. Would never recommend this place. Lack of management. Seems unsafe to have a hotel with no front desk clerk.

i booked and paid online. i reserved a 2 queen bed. when we checked in they didn’t have my room which i already paid for. this lack of accountability costed my family a less memorable experience and some restless nights!

The staff was excellent. They did all they could with a smile on their face to make our stay as pleasant as possible. When we first arrived, the room hadn't been cleaned. The young man at the front and the sweet lady that was about to leave for the day grabbed all the supplies required and cleaned the room on the spot. I couldn't ask for a better resolution. My family felt safe, comfortable, and cared for. Thank you to the associates that attended to us so late in the day. I would recommend this stay to any traveling in the area.

The parking lot is a problem, especially with contractor vehicles… I was afraid our vehicle would get damaged as parking was very tight with no open spots available.

The breakfast was fantastic! Janie, who looks after the breakfast, is the best at customer service! Front desk staff unfriendly. Room mostly clean except floors. Neighbors in Rm. 103 (next door) on the second night were extremely noisy. Plumbing needs to be looked into. TV remote in sitting area didn't work properly.
The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. However, this hotel is overall sub-par for the brand.

We booked the room with a jacuzzi tub for our wedding anniversary. The jacuzzi was great, and the cleaning crew was very helpful. Upon arrival, however, we checked in with the front office and were allowed to go to our room. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff had just started cleaning it. We had to wait for them to finish. We nearly missed our dinner reservation that evening because of the wait. The cleaning staff was very apologetic and gave us extra towels. We also had issues with our key and the door latch. We appreciated the cleaning staff, but we were frustrated with the front desk’s lack of communication with other staff members. We will likely not stay here again.

Property was clean, staff was friendly and welcoming. Located right on King street with a decent indoor pool, cute outdoor area overlooking the mountains, and a pretty good breakfast. Great for the price!

I booked a two bedroom with a sofa bed but when I checked in the manager said it came to them as only a two bedroom room. He took 45 minutes to work out an extra room (which cost me extra) so that the third person had a bed. Mark was extremely helpful but I hesitate to go through Hotels.com again after this inconvenience and expense.,

If you like rednecks in pickups rattling your windows all night this is the place. Noise from the street was ridiculous. They must have gone cheap on windows and no noise reduction. Noise inside hotel bad as well. Probably dumb kids running in hallways and slamming doors.
And their pillows suck. Not comfortable at all.
Insulting even if they charged the high rates they do.

Extremely overpriced for run down hotel. Elevator broken, dirty lobby with torn furniture. Rusty bathtub and stained room carpet and curtains. The "gym" is basically a broom closet, two treadmills inch thick dust on everything. Breakfast wasn't served until after seven o'clock even though it says six thirty on their hotel website.

Everything was consistent with a highly-rated facility - the staff was way better than most 5-star motels.
The bed was very good, but the covers were tight-weave polyester and therefore too hot for comfort. The front of the Motel is steps away from the busiest highway in Boone (and will have construction for the next few weeks); the entrance (on the other side) was very good and that side was much quieter. All-in-all will deserve a higher rating on expedia!

The hotel and the rooms were nice, however they clearly do not care if customers smoke in their rooms. It wreaked throughout the halls.
