My total with expedia was $271.70, but hotel charged me $305.30 before checking in without any explanation. Room was fine and in a good area.

Great location, walking distance to a few restaurants and the lake, rooms are reasonably well maintained although a bit dated. There is no on-site staff except for the cleaning staff when they come in, so if you need something like an extra blanket, you would have to catch them when they are there. This is a motel, privacy is not great. If you want the shades up for light and a breeze from an open window everyone walking by can look in. I stayed for a couple of nights to go to a wedding and was fine with it for that purpose but probably won’t be a repeat customer.

A toaster does not make it a kitchenette. We happened to see that a few of the rooms truly had a kitchette but ours was not one of them. The shower was the smallest we've encountered. Paper thin walls made it impossible to sleep when the guests next door turned on their television. Fire Department across the street with alarms blaring at all hours of the night. Couldn't wait to get home.

The check-in procedure needs a lot of work. Because they didn’t have my correct phone number on Expedia or some reason I had no way to access my room. I had to call a bunch of phone numbers. Another couple of the following day had the same issue.

lacks heat air and ice. Not worth the price, even motel6 has ice. space is quite small, difficult to move around. has a totally useless cabinet but no table.

Everything was excellent, the room was clean and properly decorated. I can’t say much about the service or the staff since I didn’t need anyone or talk to anyone staff members.

Nice, small set of lodges with a full kitchen and king sized bed. It is in the "Heavenly" part of South Tahoe and it is a beautiful area. Pretty small space but nevertheless in a good location.

I have stayed here before. It was during cooler weather. It was plesant enough so I booked another stay. There was no a/c in my room. It does say no a/ c in the room. If you like being comfortable, I would not book during the summer. I didn't open my window because the screen was not secure on the window. It did seem the room next ro me had a/c

Quaint room with all we needed. Unfortunately we had room 101 right next to the busy boulevard so quite noisy

Very nice theme room!

This property is very noisy. You can hear lots of road noise. It’s not worth what they charge in terms of value. I never saw any staff present so I only rated it 2 stars. The property is also very old.

Perfect getaway spot and close for easy scooter rides to state line and restaurants.

Nice, quiet property in an easily accessible part of South Lake Tahoe. The gas fireplace heater makes the ambiance very inviting. We’ll return for sure.

The room was very clean. I would suggest having a bedside table on both sides of the bed. The walls were very thin so you could hear when cars would pull up and shut their door as well as people in their rooms. Overall, it was a good experience I never did receive, directions on how to enter the room prior to my stay. I did have to message them while pulling up to the room but thankfully I did get a fast response.

Hot and cold water showers are a challenge to keep from freezing or feeling very uncomfortable with the hot water. All dependent on your neighbors.

Property is a ski lodge trying to make some money in the summer months. There is no A/C, which I do not remember seeing when I chose this facility. No staff on site, although the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Spent the night with only a ceiling fan after a day in 90 degree temperatures. Not a pleasant experience.

Plus: Cute, charming room; comfortable bed. Small but functional. Clean and well appointed. Minus: Walkway light outside shines through blinds and keeps the room much lighter than we prefer.

Overall its good for solo travelers. You get queen bed, small kitchen, fan, TV, bathroom. I feel a table and chair is missing, specially if you get take away food and want to eat in room. Its a smaller than average rooms but good for a short stay. Parking is available, I believe 1 for each room. I didn't get any instructions for the check-in. Since there is no front desk, I was expecting an email or SMS. When I reached at the hotel, luckily the housekeeping folks were there so they helped me out by calling the owner. However, there is a number provided which I would have called if no one else was there.
